it may not make as much power as its V8 big brothers, but its a pretty cool alternative for those that want something different.

ive been debating between the same 2 cars. hoping i can pick 1 up as soon as i get a few things paid off in the coming months. both are badass for what they are. im more of a pontiac guy, so ive been leaning towards a G8, but currently they seem to run about 5K higher in price than some of the V's im finding. although once the new chevy SS comes out, that could change.

a buddy of mine gave me a heads up earlier that GM was having a web cast today to show off the new 2014 silverado/sierra trucks. while watching said web cast, i believe i found my new project motor. An LS....6. when i say this, i mean a V6 based on the LS platform (fucking finally!). The only reason i went with best buy is because i have their credit card with 0% interest, so i put it on that. My dad didnt tell him to STFU, but he did strait up call the kid out while he was gettin pissy with us, but he still didnt take the hint. We asked him why he thought some one would be dumb enough to to wire a dash and air bags through a fucking radio, his response was "well they did, i wouldnt lie to you, its just gm's junk design"

I honestly didnt think something like that would happen considering i never even asked for the little douch bags opinion. We just asked for a wire harness. Yea i know how the new ones are set up and we were pretty sure mine was old enough to not have to worry about. Not to mention the module we knew we needed said it was just for the door/key alarm. Kid didnt help his case either by saying the harness we needed would affect the air bags and speedo lol

So as some might know, ive already been dealing with the idiots that work at this location, attempting to get my dash repaird/replaced due to some idiot messing it up while installing me remote start. Now, i go in there this morning to get the fiance a cd player for her car for christmas. Luckily my dad went with me and reminded me that radio may control some other things, so we jumped on a computer and look up the parts install list. We notice there is some wire harness and seperate module listed. After reading up we grab a generic harness off the shelf (20 bucks) and grab one of the guys working back that area to see if they had the module (controls the alarms for keys in ignition). Kid comes over and looks at the parts list and says the harness we had would not work and we needed the other one listed (150 bucks). We asked the kid to explain why and he says its because GM has a junk design and that alot of stuff wouldnt work with out it. After sending the kid off to see if they even have it, we jump back on the computer to look up said harness. Of course the description is pretty bland, but we read something about air bags, and notice the equipment number is GMOS-XX, and after some quick research, we found that its only needed if you have onstar, hence GMOS.... Kid then comes back, says they dont have it, so i just say its cool i have what i need. Then, this little twat gets an attitude with me and starts saying he would never lie to me and that he garuntees its true, i could even go ask the guys in the install shop (the same guys who fucked up my dash and tried to blame it on GM? I think not....) After that, we just walked away before it got ugly. That will be the last time i step foot in that store.

Yep, did that and it does help, but i still get alot of games with horrible connections. Supposedly treyarc is blaming it on the matchmaking and are trying to patch it so you will always get the best connections, but we will see. Yes lag compensation is this built in crap they decided was a good idea so that people that arent cheap asses and pay for good internet cant just dominate people on dial up connections. And shit, at this point id be happy just to get hit markers when im standing a foot behind a guy with a shot gun...

I love the run and gun approach, but i hate camping/campers. But then again, even running and gunning sucks ass in this game because of the (now even worse than mw3) lag compensation.

Not even close lol. i fucking hate this game. if it werent for the fact that all of my friends play and we are all in a clan and trying to do a youtube/troll channel for fun, i would have sold my copy for 5 bucks already just to get rid of it.

This is the other reason i drive gm. Shortly after nissan did this same thing to gtr owners when they broke their trannies using the launch control, chevy put a launch control system in the vette, and strait out said it would not void the warranty or they wouldnt have put it on the car.

Last i heard/read was over on luxury4play, he said they went to some new pcm setup that required a complete rewire of the car and said it would take them about 2 weeks to complete. Some guy called him out on it saying that he has ran the same setup on some car of his and it only took a couple days to do. D wiggs never responded and it has now been close to a month.

Anyone really keep up what guns are good (reliable) these days?. I used to, but i had a little collection of guns, and stopped playing nearly as much as i used to, so i stopped paying attention. Problem is, my cheap back up gun i had took a shit on me, so now im looking for something a little better. Ive always liked the spyder mechanical semi autos like the old TL's. I wouldnt mind picking one up, but from what i can tell, people trying to sell them are out of there minds. I looked on ebay for a while, and even peoples beat up modded ones go for 40-50 bucks. Now im not saying its bad necessarily, but paintball discounters has the new sonix which seem to be pretty nice for 70. My probelm is, after buying a roughly 45 dollar gun, im still looking at paying 15 ish for shipping, so roughly 60 bucks by time it gets sent to me. So i guess what I im getting to is, are the new ones just as good as the old ones, or should i pay the 60 for an older TL?

internally yes i believe they are pretty similar, but they deal with less power so they tend to last alot longer. pretty much like scott said though, pretty much anything GM with the 3.8 is going to be a good car. i picked up my 2000 bonneville with 74K miles, interior was mint exterior was great minus a few light scratches, for 6500. mine isnt the supercharged one, but it has enough ass to get out of its own way, and gets 32 mph freeway

Oh i know, i wouldnt have touched it except for the fact that my fiance drives it, so i needed them on. The worst part that pissed me off the most was that, before they even looked at it, the guy tried to feed me some shit that the bulbs in early 2000 gm cars were shit and that i could go buy some new bulbs and we could "work something out" to have them install them (he didnt realize they were sauterd (sp?) On to the board). After words he told me i could go buy a new dash for 400 bucks and they would put it in...

Nope, still waiting to hear back from best buys coorperate office. I did take the car back to them and was told i could beat on the dash to get the lights to come back on because they "tend to just randomly go bad" i did get them back for a temporary fix, but was told i would need a new dash.

J The 2000 is my bonneville lol. My bird is a 96, an lt1 style car. 93-95 the 3.4 was the base motor, and 96 was suppose to be the official start to the use of the 3.8 i the f body, but a plant in california started putting them in the 95's. Its not really even about the motor though, Im just in shock at how stupid this kid is. I tried to explain all of this stuff to the kid which pissed him off, so he would then say something else that would lead you to believe he is still saying they all had the 3.4, but as soon as you try to correct him again, your instantly an idiot and cant read what he is supposedly trying to say. I dont know why im shocked though, hes apart of a group that was questioning dyno brians work and kinda being dicks about it.

Honestly, i wouldnt be suprised if the kid didnt even know what that is. Although his buddy posted the article from wikipedia about the year differences and i tried to point out where it said 95 was the last year for 3.4, but again, i was told i was an idiot that cant read because supposedly thats what he had been trying to tell me all along....
