See, I don't think they tried hard enough to make it real. It is a lot better than games like NFS in that sense, but there are just so many small things in 4 that are just irritating because they are so easy to fix and would make the game a lot more fun to play, but I doubt anything will get done about them.

Ok cool lol. Yea who diagnosed that? Cause the paper I got said it was a broken wire, but we played with it for like 2 hours and we got it to mess up 2 times for like 10 seconds and it was fine the rest of the time. They also tried to tell to me it was a bad motor mount, but there is no way in hell, not with the sounds its making lol

im not completely sure of the issue, but as described by my mom lol,... She was driving the truck in 2wd, but felt like the transfer case was binding up as if it were attempting to engauge 4wd or something. She said she took a turn and the front wheels didnt want to move, but the rear was more than happy to slide out. i believe she said it also happend again while taking off from a stop light. i know its probably not much to go on, but any idea's?

I don't know a lot about the g37's, but they do seem to be a good all around car. The camaro on the other hand, depends which motor your lookin at. If you want the v6, id look into the 2012's because anything prior had timing chain issues that were supposed to be fixed on the "new" 3.6

According to my contract, basically everything inside the tranny is covered. I'm just really concerened with the horror stories I've heard about companies trying there hardest to get out of paying for it.

Ok, so i got around to taking my bonneville into the shop to have a ticking noise checked out that were pretty sure is coming from the transmission. Before we took it in, my dad had reminded me that i had a 5 year/ 100000 mile warrany on the car, but not sure who it was through. I called the dealership i got the car at and was simply told it was still good and that they were backed up on tranny work, but that the warranty was good at any GM dealership. I made a few calls to a few dealerships to make sure it was true, but not one other dealership showed any kind of warranty for my car. Just to make sure of things, i took the car into the original dealer anyway. upon getting there and talking to the service writers (2 of which could not find a warranty either), we find out it is through a company called autolife. Now ive never really heard of them, but the service guy said that they are picky, but they do seem to cover what they are supposed to. That seems good and all, except that fact that they more than likely still have to tear into the tranny to figure out what is up and if for some reason they decide not to cover it, im out all the money. has anyone here ever used this company before, and how did it turn out? or what would be my best options do you think?

ok. i had my dad ask the tranny guy at his work what he thought, if it might be the trans or not, and i guess he said it sounded like some bearing going bad to him. i also remembered that i got the extended warranty on that thing so im just gonna take it in and have it looked at lol. i called dave gill, but was told they had a waiting line of like 2 weeks

Well according to the scanner I used it was like p0102 code I think and it even said low voltage. That sucking type sound has turned into a constant ticking sound. It was only doing that in park and neutral till this morning. I just drove the car home to get the bird and it was ticking the entire time.

Shit, I just realized. Forgot to mention this is my bonneville doing this, not the bird lol. I believe it has the 4t60 e trans.

A little back story... The car started acting funny about 3 days ago. We pulled into a meijers parking lot and as I'm parking, the car about dies. On the way home, when I would slow down/ stop the car would about die every time and when I would take off it would stutter if you didn't give enough gas quick enough. I would also hear a strange noise that kinda sounded like sucking air/ whistle type sound. Got it home and started checking things. We did find that the motor was eating coolant and figured it was the upper intake. After pulling it off and finding that the gasket was going bad and replacing it, the car was still acting funny and now had an ses light. I had the code checked that came back as low voltage to the maf. I took it out and cleaned it and the car seemed to run better ( no attempted stalling or stuttering). Now the entirr time, I had also been trying to describe the weird air sucking/whistle noise I had been hearing, but up until we cleaned the maf and took the car for a test drive, my dad hadn't heard it. We got back and put the car in park and the noise came back. At first he said it sounded like water bearing going bad, but after trying a few things, we determind it had to be the tranny. I drove the car home and back a little later. I pullex up in my dads driveway and put it in park. When I did this the car rocked back when I let off the brake and made some loud ticking like sound and the car almost stalled. After this, the ticket sound got pretty loud and was constant in park and nuetral only. Until this morning, it did not make the ticking sound while in gear. Now the faster I go, the faster and louder it gets. Is it fixable or am I fucked? Lol

Yep, tried several just to be sure. Dakotart, sorry I forgot to mention it has vista. I haven't tried that fix yet, but I found a few others for xp that didn't work
