The computer is a dell dimensions c521. It will not read any cd. Got a code 39 which says that some files may be missing from the driver. I've tried updating the driver and even downloaded some program from the company that made the driver that is supposed to fix things like this, but no luck. Any ideas?

Basically, i have everything for the motor minus rockers, which i will be getting this week, intake manifold, which a buddy of mine may already have, crank pully, alternator and water pump. after that i will just need electical/ignition stuff and fuel lines/pump. A Few things have changed though that are cause this to take a little longer to get the car mobile, but are for the better in the long run. I got a deal on a turbo 350 transmission and a 9 inch rear end that i could not pass up on (will get pics up as soon as i get them). Not to mention, after calling a few junk yards to try and find an LT1 front K member, for the money some of them want, ill probably just spend the extra and get a BMR tubular unit.

How bad is the miss? Seeing as 3800's use 1 pack per 2 cylinders, the miss can get pretty bad.

True lol. I was saying do this if he was gonna try to get as close to 10's as possible NA. Yea there are little in the way of power gains, but I was meaning it more in the way of weight savings. Obviously the weight savings is only as good if your willing to lose that sort of stuff. My a/c didn't work and half my speakers were blown, so it wasn't worth it to me replace them since I had a dd so it all went to the trash.

I'm assuming since you have other cars you dont need a/c and the such, so do yourself a favor and gut that bitch. Seeing as your car t tops and. What not, it would take a little more work, but I got my car down to 3000 and it still looks like I have a full interior. After talking to a couple of guys from comp, I told them just running the car off the converter, I wanted it in the mid 11's . After they did some reaserch or whatever they do, they gave me a cam recomendation, that let's just say isn't nearly as big as I was figuring I would need. That weight makes a difference.

I would do cam and nitrous. If your aiming for 10's I would think that would be the best/ cheapest, at least initially. Not to mention A little more reliable than just a huge shot.

On topic though, I think this site will be a much better place without all the trash. What this man said. You are brave for buying a modded supra. I know the motors in those are rediculously strong, but your still taking that risk. I'm sure those motors aren't cheap to replace.
