  1. I really need it today ... later this evening really... i don't know about price either. Its just a stock rail so $30 bucks maybe?
  2. I need a stock fuel rail from a 2001 - 2004 mustang gt... Let me know if you have one. I would like to pick up today! Thanks, Shawn
  3. They are almost 2 twice the price for not all that much more flow than the Patriot Stage 3 if I recall correctly. I would have liked to get the TF but damn their expensive and im not sure they have alot available at this time.
  4. I agree the heads aren't the most efficient however I did opt for stage 3 heads as opposed to just running the stock heads. I'm using the Kenne Bell BAP which if their documentation and recommendation is correct will enable the stock pump to handle over 500. They actually include a good bit of flow tests with their documentation that compares the stock pump with their BAP to dual svt pumps and others. I will have to scan and post it up. Pretty interesting data. However we will find out soon enough I don't think its going to make 500rwhp. I'm hoping for around 450 - 470ish. I got a good deal on the 1.7 KB, and mainly with this setup wanted to get into the 400 rwhp range and forge the bottom end so I have a good base once the 1.7 isn't cutting it anymore and I upgrade to one of the larger KB's. Also, to some degree we are all in the "waste your money land" depending on how you look at it
  5. Stock fuel system for now with a KB BAP. The 1.7L KB probably won't push it above 500 rwhp so it should be fine.
  6. 4.6l Bored .030 over Diamond 0.030 pistons Forged Cobra Crank Manley Rods Patriot Stage 3 Heads. They were pretty good except the installed the pistons upside down. The valve reliefs are on the bottom on the modular engines. So i had to fix. They offered to fix them but I needed it done this weekend so I swapped them around before we put it together this weekend. You can see from the 2nd pic they were installed wrong. http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=232&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1880&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1918&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1922&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1925&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1931&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1937&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1940&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1946&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1949&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1952&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1979&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1988&g2_serialNumber=2 http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=1994&g2_serialNumber=2 For all the pictures of this weekend check out the gallery. http://www.mustangaddiction.com/mustang_gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1915&g2_page=4 Hopefully I can get it fired up this week and get it over to Brian's so he can tune it
  7. God damn.. that was fast
  8. I need a few wooden pallets... does anyone have some extras or know where I can get a few? Thanks, Shawn
  9. I dropped it off at Fowler yesterday. Thanks for all the input!
  10. I'm curious... with respect to the 4.6, does fowler and M&M recommend boring the 4.6 .020 over? After talking with I believe it was Jeff at Fowler ... he recommended boring 0.020 over but a lot of the companies especially livernois that sell forged rotating assemblies do not recommend boring over if it can be avoided. They stated its a good idea to keep the cylinder walls as thick as possible on the 4.6 for boosted applications. Just wondering what the stance is for both M&M and fowler.
  11. TTT Offers anyone?... it needs to go....
  12. I don't want to part it out for a few reasons. Mostly I don't want to tear apart a low mileage engine.
  13. Correct... stock 4.6 2v's are around 220 - 230 to the wheels.... the benefit as Gearhead said is displacement... check the dyno graph and look at the torque. Compare that to a stock 4.6 and you will see the difference. The biggest difference I noticed was around town driving. Not much at the track. Best I ever ran with it was 13.92 with a 1.9 60 foot. Thats with 18' saleens and nitto 555r's. Again I have everything for it to go into a truck (f150 etc) so keep that in mind.
  14. I'm selling my 5.4L 2v that has been in my car for about 2 years. I bought it a few years back up in PA and it had about 12k miles on it. It had stage 1 cams for the entire 2 years. It dynoed at 260 rwhp and 321 rwtq(see dyno graph below). I removed the the stage 1 cams this weekend and installed the stock cams. The engine is ready to ship. If your going to use it in a mustang that had/has a 4.6 2v you can use the 4.6 oil pan, oil feeder tube, and oil filter bracket and just drop right in your mustang. I even have the RR adapter plates that can go with the engine so your stock intake will bolt up. Also I can send a spec stage 2+ clutch with about 4k miles on it if your interested. If you looking to put it in a truck, it came out of a 2003 Ford F150, so i have the intake and pretty much everything else you will need. The engine ran when I took it out. Its a very strong engine with low miles. $1,800 ... or make me an offer. 15. I called central ohio engines and Fowler. Spoke with Jeff at Fowler their rates seem reasonable and he offered a lot of additional information with regards to the rebuild the other didn't offer. Thanks for the help! Shawn
  16. I'm looking for a local machine shop to prep my 4.6l block for a rebuild. Can you recommend someone? Also I read a few posts about Fowler Engines being good but they take a while. What should I expect to pay for services such as this?
  17. Could someone with a carfax account do a check for this vin number: 1g1jf12t9y7147638 My Dad is looking at vehicles for my sister.

  19. 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3L 5 speed. Not 100% sure but I don't think it has anti-theft ... how much would you charge for something like this?
  20. So my wife recently purchased a remote starter system for me. She bought it from ebay I think. Its made by Alert Automotive: http://alertautomotive.com/index2.asp?CID=4 I started looking over the install instructions and it seems pretty complicated. I'm sure I can figure it out sooner or later but I was wondering if there are any companies here in columbus that will install them for you? What would be a typical price to pay? Let me know
