  1. Checked the wheel bearings on both rears. No movement. Both sets of wheels, I've complained of vibration in the rear.
  2. I swapped the stockers on and it still vibrates but it is felt in the seat indicating the back
  3. I wanted to thank Derek for all his hard work. I went to Discount Tire, IPS, then Tire Discounters in hope of quelling the constant vibration from the 20s. The first two places did their job admirably (Discount Tire, not so much but IPS did a good job) However, it still persisted so I contacted Derek asking him for help. Derek said to bring it in and he'll throw the tires on the Roadforce. He found one tire that was in excess of specs and fixed it. When I took it out for a drive, it seemed to have fixed it so I paid a great price and thanked him. I left to go home. On the freeway, it vibrated still but not as bad. I consulted the other forum (Nissan Maxima) and asked people who had the same set-up, they reported no vibrations so I contacted Derek again and he was more than happy to double-check everything. Today, I went over and he drove it, didn't feel anything (E. Broad is not the best road but he tried) nonetheless, he still took all wheels off and checked the balance and even separated one tire to try to bring the roadforce down a bit more. I drove it and it still didn't fix the problem but I am still extremely thankful that he tried everything instead of just telling me that it is what it is. Thank you very much, Derek. I'm not going anywhere else for service, Tire Discounters on E. Broad ALL THE WAY. You might hear from me for a new set of wheels and tires.
  4. Might be a bit more but I would get a Malibu maxx
  5. Which can be permanently fixed by using aluminum frame gaskets.
  6. Does anyone know of any? I was watching Gordon Ramsay and he was cooking Indian food and I'm now craving to try some Indian food.
  7. Is that Sky a Redline or a regular Sky?
  8. I know that but will it be drivable to an alignment shop afterwards? Just so you know, I've never lowered a car before.
  9. Thanks guys. I have to remove the struts themselves to get the springs off. How far out of whack will the alignment be afterwards, do you know?
  10. Has anyone used them? Are they easy to use? I've never used one and I'm asking in advance because I'm looking into installing my own lowering springs and the fronts require the use of spring compressors. If I was to do it, I would employ one of these loan-a-tool from Advance, Autozone, or OReilly, whoever has one of them available for rental.
  11. I leave the VDC on the Maxima on since I don't like having to push the button all the time. Plus the VDC is reasonably complaint with the way I drive. It has saved my ass when I enter a curve too fast and the fucking county decides to dump a ton of salt on the road.
  12. Retightened the lugnuts to see if that will help. I am trying to avoid spending money going around shops. My next method tomorrow is to mount the stock tires on the back and see if that stops it. I really do believe it is on the back tires because the steering wheel does not vibrate anymore
  13. It's Michelin pilot sport a/s plus. I can feel it the most in the pedals
  14. There was a slight vibration prior the new wheels/tires but the tires were shit and I curbed the wheels a few times.
  15. I do not know what ips uses. The wheels are Verde Parallax that was custom made for the car. I do not think my suspension is damaged because Erik said in our convo that they inspected the suspension while they were at it. Oh and Erik said that they had to add 1.5-2 to each wheel from what I understand
  16. Mettle? The link you provided gives me plastic ones.
  17. I have the hubcentric rings. They're made of plastic. I looked at them previously and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, how do I ensure they're good? Order another set of rings?
  18. I have Michelin Pilot Sports btw. Not cheap by any means.
  19. This is my first time owning a set of wheels that exceeds 17 inches and I wanted to know what to expect in terms of vibrations and so on. I took the car to IPS to get it rebalanced after Discount Tire kept making it worse. After leaving IPS, it was reduced a lot but still vibrates a bit above 65 MPH. I asked Erik (nice guy btw) and he said that is to be expected and they balanced the tires as true as it gets. The other obvious thing is to be aware of large divots and craters in the road.
  20. We'll see. I'm not entirely convinced yet.
  21. I work at Pizza Cottage and I HATE their pizzas so much. No, it's not because I work there, the pizzas just suck period. Tiberio's in Lancaster is the bomb. I love their pizzas.
  22. The weather Channel on my phon says 2-4 inches. It's hardy snowing if any here in canal winchester.
  23. Asked for lowering springs and got it. Oh yeah.
