  1. My geology professor said that the Mississippi is forecasted to be in flood stage until JUNE! They already destroyed one levee, I believe a two-mile strip in Cairo that's right on the river in hopes of reducing the crest so the people south won't suffer the wrath of the river.
  2. Woot for another Saab in the club! I'm the new school 9-3. Love these things. My badges has peeled away twice. I suggest just going on Ebay and order a decal to stick on it. I'll be doing that. I'm also waiting for one of my favorite tuners to develop a tune for the new generation. But I'm sure you'll set a banging tune for that Saab. Nice find!
  3. Intermediate Steering Shaft. They're a problem on the Bonnevilles, Tahoes, Suburbans, trucks, etc. It goes bad and it makes weird noises turning. EDIT: Mom's Tahoe had it replaced three times.
  4. You should look for the wheels that are three-spoked. I forget what they're called. You can have the option of some being finished in silver, some in chrome, and some in grey with silver accents. I like those a LOT.

    Dear Cr

Do not do that. I don't want my screen to get cracked from all the ugliness. It's already cracked from when I first saw his car. Phil, you're amazing.

    Dear Cr

Can someone fix the guy's grammar?
  7. I must agree as well. I'm sick of the rain and cold(ish) weather because I want, like you guys, to wash my black Saab. I haven't washed it for nearly two or three weeks because of the fucking rain. I also wanted to bring my bicycle to Athens so I can leave the car and bike around campus. God knows that when the rains stop, we'll be bitching about the heat...
  8. I watched twenty minutes, stopped it, and returned it. It sucked.
  9. Like I said in my first post, the buildings blocks my views, I cannot see the cars approaching the intersections due to the buildings (quite a few of those in Lancaster) and let's say the road has very few cars they're behind me. But otherwise, yes, I can see lights, cars, objects around me.
  10. This is a hypothetical situation and I thought since we have some people who are cops or may be knowledgeable of the law. Some may know and some may not know. I was born Deaf and I use American Sign Language to communicate, in other words, I don't use my voice. I'm profoundly Deaf, I can't hear sirens even when it's right next to me... Which brings me to this. If I was approaching an intersection that has a green light for me. I cannot see the crossing roads due to buildings blocking the view. An ambulance or an emergency response vehicle is responding to a situation on the lane that will cross my path. If I was to hit him in the middle of the intersection, who would be at fault? I try not to play the Deaf card but I do not think I should be at fault since I cannot hear the sirens and I had a green light. (I know that having a green light doesn't mean anything but it tells me that I can go). Opinions are appreciated. Yes, I've had a few near calls because I didn't even seen them coming and I'm very alert.
  11. While I may not know you, I know a honorable man when I see one. Good luck Paul Don't drop the soap in the showers and it's ok to look but no touchie
  12. I'm surprised you don't have to look down to locate your micropenis.
  13. Aren't you all comedians... I actually weighed at 175 once. I quit pop one day about eight months ago. I dropped 15 pounds and I didn't know it until the doctor's check-up where they drilled me about if it was intentional or unintentional, vice versa.
  14. Genes suck, I agree. I'm so tired of people asking if I'm anorexic. (I'm 160 and 6'5'') Congrats at hitting 200 lbs, I would like to be ripped but I'm afraid I'll look like a muscular stick.
  15. Has anyone been able to replicate the V6 Mustang that I saw on TV, I've been trying on Ford.com for the past two days to "build and price" one.
  16. Oh I agree. That's why we buy nice quality cars such as your Audi A...whatever number it is now. I'm not saying we have to drive crapboxes, just not big-ass SUVs and trucks. IF they can afford the SUVs/trucks, they can afford buying a nice car. I drive 110 miles a day and I thank myself for buying a Saab.
  17. I liked the Camaro to be honest. I thought it was real nice. Admittedly, I've never test-drove one. I would rock the Mustang V6 with the Track Package (that one you see on TV, the dark grey one with nice wheels)
  18. Are you referring to the current obsession fat Americans have? The fact they must have trucks to commute xx miles a day when a regular car will do the same task while emitting wayyy less CO2 in the atmosphere? Let's not forget the bimbo soccer moms that feel safe driving massive SUVs when it's only 95% of the time, it's just the bimbo? If so, I whole-heartedly agree.
  19. Holy crap. 180 miles per hour in a quarter of a mile. 180 FREAKING miles per hour in a quarter of a MILE! Geez, that's not fast, that's supersonic.
  20. I've seen videos of those Patriots doing things they shouldn't be doing. I wouldn't go for a Compass, it's not my cup of tea. The Patriots when they're lifted and modded, they bear a great resemblance to the original Cherokee. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/2006-Jeep-Patriot-SEMA-Concept-Rear.jpg
  21. I definitely like the new 300s a lot. I think they stole the Audi's headlights and made it better-looking. I'll rock a 3.6/8A/AWD hard
  22. I like the Liberty/Nitro but the issue is the fuel economy and I have no idea why it's still stuck with a 4A and not a 5A like the Grand Cherokee that has the same motor.
  23. Has anyone had any experiences with them? I like the looks, the size, and it has somewhat off-road skills as evidenced in this picture http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/2007_Jeep_Patriot.jpg I'm sure there's better alternatives out there but I think this seems to be a good blend of off-road capable, size, and fuel economy thoughts?
