  1. See last three pictures? That prevented me from continuing with my plans of setting the roads ablaze... This summer, I will do it!
  2. Certainly, here's some pics from when I crumpled it up...twice. Yeah, I suck at driving sometimes. The pictures may not show it very well but the passenger side and the guardrail had a disagreement. The side was scraped and dented the entire length. (also known as ice) http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/IMG_20110123_171738.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/IMG_20110123_171744.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/IMG_20110123_171804.jpg I'm very pleased with the body shop, there is no color difference between the old and new paint. They did have a bit of overspray but I'll probably claybar and buff it out eventually. I'm not lowering it, it already scrapes at factory height and Ohio University likes to implement speedbumps that are so high that bicycles scrapes going over it...
  3. Finally got it back from the body shop. It's nice to have it whole and not crumpled up. It's completely stock other than a KN drop-in and the wheels. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/Stewie%20the%20Saab/GEDC1667.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/Stewie%20the%20Saab/GEDC1669.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/Stewie%20the%20Saab/GEDC1665.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/Stewie%20the%20Saab/428c6e85.jpg
  4. Interesting, I wouldn't consider it a beater. They're good cars but they love to eat transmissions for lunch. GM put too weak of a transmission behind the motor. So it is a matter of "WHEN", not a matter of "IF" the transmission will fail.
  5. Another epiphany. Boob The 'B' is the topview of the woman's boobs and the 'oo' is the front view of the boobs and the 'b' is the sideview of the boobs. Thus the word is perfect.
  6. I really like the blacked out rear trim. I think that really sets it off! Car looks fantastic!

    would you rather

The deaf girl simply because I'm deaf too so ha! Your significant other with a strap-on modeled after a walrus's dick up your bum with spit as lube OR the Ghost pepper rubbed in your eyes, and pee-pee. BTW The ghost pepper is the hottest pepper in the world

    would you rather

Fall down the stairs. Good thing I got long legs, I can use my feet in lieu of my hands. Would you rather perform an entire film gay for pay but the pay is only 1 Wendy's 99 cents chicken nuggets OR Have one ugly as sin wife that likes to fuck with the lights on and wears granny panties.
  9. I use Mobil 0W-40 and a Wix filter in the Saab because it asks for it.
  10. Fantastic recommendations, now I have a great list of places to try. I think I'm going to try Ming Flower and Hunan House this week.
  11. I love wonton soup, spring rolls, eggrolls, and sweet 'n' sour chicken. I used to like General Tso's but lately, I've been eating a rash of dark meat in General Tso's and I do not like dark meat at all. Sweet 'n' Sour chicken always has been very consistent everywhere, always white meat.
  12. Does anyone knows of good quality Chinese places to eat? I've been to the Golden Dragon on Morse Rd. It was awesome then the quality of the chicken went down and didn't sit well with me. I've eaten at Molly Woo's over at Easton. Nice but too extreme "bistro" for me and the prices are outrageous. I've eaten at Tai's on Lane Rd near the OSU campus. Nice appetizers but the entrees leaves a lot to be desired. I frequent Mark Pi Express since it's the only Chinese place in Lancaster. Any suggestions for around Columbus?
  13. Hey, fantastic-looking car there! Very good choice on the white. I hate the black on the Saab but I like the Saab too much to do anything about the color. Next car I get will definitely be white. Love the wheels too.
  14. I would drive the speed limit if you haven't. I commute daily from Lancaster to Athens (50 miles one way so about 500 miles a week). I drive my Saab and I get 31 MPG on shitty winter-blend gas in cold weather by going the speed limit. Before when I showed little care for speed limit (10-15 over, hey it's empty most of the time), I got 26-27 MPG. So 5MPG increase is good enough for me. Keep the car, man, you like it. I love my Saab, it's all of the things you described, effortless, smooth, comfortable. Miles is miles to me, makes no difference if it's 45k or 145k to me.
  15. Most of the time, I have great luck with Advance Auto, they tend to have these kind of mags underneath the front desk. Is there one close by? But Kroger should have it for sure, that's where I read magazines like these for free.
  16. I would DD one... Maybe paint it a rust color, have some old crumpled car parts hanging off the front and one broken headlight. The cars up front will part like the Reed Sea...
  17. Here you go. I had to brighten up the picture to eliminate the "fogginess" so the color might be a bit false but you get the idea. I'm not a PSer by any means Gunmetal: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/gunmetal.jpg Crap, the bronze one, the computer messed that one up. I'll redo that one and post it as soon as I can.
  18. I would comment on how awesome it sounds if I could hear it. Based on others' comments, awesome-sounding car!
  19. I thought there wouldn't be anything more epic than the Beast, the old Ford E-150. Congratulations, you've just won the most epic tow rig. Bonus points for functioning sirens.
  20. I remember doing this when I was younger (I was born in 1987 so I probably was five or six). Dad would occasionally slam on the brakes for shits and giggles. Not very fun for me. "Hey son, guess what?" "what?" *slams brakes" *yelling*
  21. This. You could even go the granny route and get a Bonneville (that was my first car) or a Park Avenue. They're shockingly quick, can go anywhere (don't ask how I discovered this), and very comfortable for whatever bouncy-bounce you may plan on in the future. Mine blew up 5 years and 75,000 hard miles later.
  22. Love seeing high-mileage Corvettes, that's how they should be: driven daily. I'm hoping to acquire a C4 in the future. I'll just repeat what others said: pics!
  23. Needs tire shine. I like how my Saab looks in black but I hate it in the winter, drive 5 feet and it's covered in road grime. I don't even bother washing it in the winter because I commute about 800 miles a week and it gets very dirty quick. Love the tips, they look just right.
