Harris said he's definitely going to visit. Pretty funny because on one site I post on all the MSU fans were laughing at the UM fans yesterday because they lost Webb and joked that Harris was the best recruit in the history of the state and committed in BLOOD. And now Urban just walks in and goes for the throat. From the 247 article that just went up...

Another highlight from the chat and not something shocking or unexpected... 2014 Top 100 (on every site I believe) LB Raekwon McMillan out of GA will be a Buckeye. "Silently" committed to them (not sure when, could have been a while ago really). Really hoping he can be a Mike Brewster-type kid in this class. Would be awesome if he pulled a Brewster and held off until the spring game when all these GA kids are coming up for a visit then commits at a big gathering like Brewster did at the 2007 spring game.

Word is grades but who knows. That was one of the rumors on Snodgrass as well now we get that story. There was a recent update where I believe OSU wasn't in Snodgrass' top 5. Another kid who was ready to commit and told to hold off for whatever reason then that story happens...lol.

Greene doing a chat on Scout tonight... Some highlights... - One of our coaches visited Snodgrass' school, pulled him out of class, and then messed around on his iPad/talked on his cell the whole time. Apparently Snodgrass did not like this. **that story is from Dave Berk; he wouldn't say which coach, and said his recruitment still has a long way to go (duh). - If Corey Smith's transcripts check out, he will accept an OSU offer on the spot. Was hoping that's what it was with Smith. Kid has been at 2 JUCO's already so figure there's some sorting out to be done.

According to Bill Greene the OSU staff was making decisions almost hourly on who could/couldn't commit or who had an "offer" vs. an OFFER. The limit definitely came into play. And when you're saving a special spot for Vonn Bell it comes into play even more because that's a 50/50 spot. According to someone on 11w Bell told them the rumor of a "soft-verbal" to Bama today is false. I mean, Urban already considers any verbal commit in the south a non-commit so a rumor about a public "soft-verbal"...lol. Like I said yesterday, there's only 2-3 spots left... OSU didn't want Gibson after spending more time with him or he didn't make the grade OSU does want Corey Smith and may get him OSU does want another OL and has guys like Hunt and Skipper still out there OSU does want Bell and will save a spot for him until the end I wonder how much Corn Elder wants to be a Buckeye. I think the second he's allowed by the staff to commit he would. Might be as late as signing day though.

Purdue's new OL coach... none other than Jim "The Walrus" Bollman.

I've never had anything against the O-Zone. Always go there first for pics and press conference stuff I want to see. Their boards are impossible for me to figure out and I've never known them to have much recruiting info. I think you or someone else explained in the last thread that Chung was their attempt to start to get into recruiting stuff more? Doing a good job I guess...lol. Also... Mark Pantoni @markpantoni 2-0 today against our Rivals #BuckeyeNation #JUICE http://i.imgur.com/i58EC.gif

Even the recruiting "experts/analysts" are extremely surprised by this. Wiltfong at 247 just said it's the most shocking commitment he's ever seen...lol. Bill Greene said he was glad to report that he didn't hurt himself too badly when he heard about it and only had a mild heart attack.

Welp, the Chung has spoken... Michael Chung @ MChungOZone Absolutely did not see him committing this weekend. His dad just told me he is solid OSU and will not flip to UM. Michael Chung @ MChungOZone Damon Webb's dad told me his son is solid OSU and will not flip. Being a Cass Tech guy and tons of friends at UM, it is a concern.
-
Also, long way to go in that recruitment. He'll have Michigan guys in his ear for another 13 months.
-
lol... that shit is insane. Some of you may remember me posting about people mocking that Chung guy from the O-Zone for posting that Webb was an OSU lean. People were mocking Chung because Michigan fans were certain he was a lock (Cass Tech is a little like Glenville for Michigan) and Chung had just posted some silly stuff about James Quick. CHUNG IS NEW BEST INSIDER EVER

Miami should finally have their notice of allegations from the NCAA within the next few days.

Recruiting summary as of this morning from Bill Greene...
-
New/updated info from nevada's guy on expansion...
-
Judging from Bill Greene's comments it looks like Smith will definitely be a commit after this weekend. Has a 100% committable offer and OSU wants him. Sounds like he's the Quick replacement.
-
Yeah, pretty sure a new thread would fix the double post thing. Think it has something to do with the size of the thread. 1 commit for the weekend down, at least 1 more to go. Hoping for Gibson or Bell.

This is absolutely true. There are tons of stories out there about what the team did once they got to Arizona for the title game and they were all cute and funny and whatnot before the game. Basically horror stories and cautionary tales after it. And while Florida's DL was absolutely the star of that game, their OL was fantastic as well. There were some 3rd and shorts where they pounded right through the middle of OSU's DL with Wynn (kid from Cincy, think it was Deshawn). That was something I didn't expect them to be able to do. Like I said, I thought the Big 10 was the power conference and if OSU had to they could go power but it was Florida who overpowered OSU all night on both sides of the ball. And now look at the poster child of the SEC... Alabama. Pro-style offense with typically the best OL in the country, a big, bruising back and always one of the best defenses in the country. Urban seems intent on running some kind of hybrid power spread. OSU's OL will be top 5 in the country next year and Hyde will be one of the top 10 RB's in the country. Throw in Braxton with whatever progression he makes and that offense will be hard to stop. The defense has a lot of catching up to do to get on the same planet as Bama though. With some dates for spring stuff released yesterday, Urban had a presser today so it sparked a lot of different conversations. One of the big things was how Urban admitted repeatedly that Bama is the goal. They are the cream of the crop and even they had a couple close games and a loss in the SEC which shows the talent in that conference. Said he's studied the A&M film a lot. But some of the more interesting conversations were this... Urban and Herman had very little idea of what they had going into last season. So while the offense had some success, it was pretty vanilla. Now they know what they have and what they have coming in and what they want to do and it's all about adding and fine tuning now. Again, this is all offensive stuff so there's a lot of positives. They had some team meetings over the last couple days and one of the biggest was about how the DL needs to improve and be dominant if they want to have a shot at the title next season. Gonna be a lot of relatively inexperienced guys out there on the DL with more inexperience behind them at LB but a pretty seasoned secondary thanks to Roby's return. tl;dr I AM EXCITE REGARDLESS

Downloaded it about a week ago myself but haven't gotten around to watching it. Gave a copy to my parents for them to watch and they didn't make it more than 40-45 minutes. I have read the first 1/3rd of the movie could have been condensed/drags a bit but the last 2/3rds are really good and the actual raid scene is incredible.

But no one would have known. Just like this SEC slurpfest we've seen since 2007 wouldn't be as bad as it is if OSU and Michigan would have had a rematch in Glendale. No one was slurping the SEC back in 2006. It's pretty crazy to think about. I remember going into that title game thinking "hehe... OSU is from the Big 10... they know how to play some tough football if they have to. Florida with that stupid spread is all finesse. Easy win." Then I had a dream a couple days before the title game where OSU was being blown out and Florida's DL was killing Troy. Not joking about that. I thought it was a hilarious dream.

Would have been nice to drink SEC fans' tears as they cried about 2 undefeated blue blood programs squaring off for a national title.
-
You mad?

Love the work Urban and the staff have had the graphics people do for the team this season...
-
Yep, his excuse this time around was Kelly's interviews. He was never going anywhere but Florida if they'd take him. What a douche.
-
Speaking of Anzalone, he's enrolling at Florida tomorrow. lololololololololol

Mmmmm... yes... let the Urban hate flow through you. http://i.imgur.com/EtpIA.jpg
