Not talking him up or down. Just thought Dantonio's pitch was funny. While the kid's commitment status may have changed in the last 4 days, his talent level hasn't. You want to see talking him up/down based on his commitment? Post directly from Michigan's Scout board... Mone is a DT Michigan got a couple days ago out of Utah. Michigan fans were all saying Marshall wasn't anything special by Monday/Tuesday after they had their little meltdown on Sunday. Now he's right back to being good. You typically get that vibe from any fan base when it comes to this stuff but for someone to just come right out and say it... hilarious.

Pretty funny the line Dantonio used on him... Paraphrasing here but basically told him that Meyer only wanted him because he's from Michigan...lol.

The fastest internet you're going to get around here (50 down/5 up) is right around ~$100/month by itself. Get something cheaper like the 30/3, toss on all your services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Streaming, Hulu, maybe pay for some newsgroups (have never done that, always torrented but I know some on here are hardcore newsgroups people) and you'll have everything there is to have.

I sold a $202.xx Walmart gift card on eBay for $201.xx a couple years ago. There's a $500 Sears gift card on eBay right now at $450 so far with 2 days to go.

Thought it was pretty bad. Maybe the worst episode of the season thus far. Not enough facepalms in the world for introducing Ghost Lori.

3 commits (so far) today. 4* OT Kyle Trout from Lancaster 4* DE Lawrence Marshall from Michigan RB/ATH Parris Campbell Jr. from Akron Marshall is a top 5 recruit in the state of Michigan which means Urban has 2 of the top 5 in that state now and people wouldn't be surprised if he eventually gets Drake Harris. Michigan fans are once again in meltdown mode right now. They bragged so much about getting all those Ohio kids the last 2 classes (several which didn't even have OSU offers) but Michigan doesn't have half the talent Ohio has on a regular basis so for Urban to go up there and take big-time Michigan talent in kids who have Michigan offers... it's a much bigger deal.

Just talked to my dad so that's not awful. Choices of objects to my immediate left... - Large Mt. Dew Baja Blast Freeze from Taco Bell - some nail files - a computer mouse - a computer monitor - a comb - some remotes - a screwdriver set Obviously go with the screwdriver set. Would have to be some CQB so hopefully these are Walking Dead/original Romero-style zombies and not 28 Days Layer/Dawn of the Dead remake-style zombies.

The reason this is is that WOW doesn't actually support WatchESPN. It has ESPN3 but ESPN has made that virtually obsolete with WatchESPN which spreads all the live programming out across their corresponding cable channels. Since WOW has ESPN3 you can watch stuff that is ESPN3-specific but you can't just watch any ESPN channel like people on truly supporting providers can. I'm hoping WOW realizes that ESPN3 is almost useless now soon because I would love to have a bunch of football games going on my TV and 2 PC monitors in the fall.
-
That sucks. I used to get contracted people with Insight but since I've been with WOW it's always been a WOW person.

That's what the kid and his family are saying but the fact is that OSU has 0 scholarships available right now so to say it has nothing to do with that is probably a little inaccurate.
-
And Townsend decided that he didn't want to wait (even though I'm certain there will be at least 1 guy gone before now and the summer) and signed with Florida. Probably looking at some kind of walk-on or Frank Epitropolous punting next year now. And what this situation was presented as to Townsend and his family from the start was that it could eventually end up being a grayshirt situation but it looked all the way up until Clark AND Bell chose OSU on signing day like he'd have the scholarship available to him. Sucks we couldn't fit him in but he's landing at a high-caliber SEC school closer to home. Not too shabby.
-
Haha... think it's time to stop piling on with that one. So it looks like the plan is to "grayshirt" Townsend (typically means the player pays his own way for a year without playing - kinda like a walk-on) but when a scholarship inevitably opens up before the summer he will get it.
-
They have other special incentives to offer though. Ole Miss' class this year being a lovely example...lol.
-
Townsend is an exceptional punter. And most big-time schools find a way to get a punter on scholarship so if you want a really good one you've gotta use one too. But it's definitely a position you can get by on without using a scholarship and with OSU limited to 82 right now it's a good place to start trimming the fat. Plus they do have Frank Epitropolous who plays WR but was a pretty good punter in HS himself. It looks like this is something that is going to work itself out though. Regardless of position, this is a Florida kid and Urban doesn't want to ruin his reputation down there by dropping a kid at the last second.
-
Another update on THE PUNTER...lol Apparently OSU did not expect the clean sweep with Bell and Clark. They knew Clark last night (nevada gave the ====) but Bell let UT and OSU know just before he announced. Now with everyone pretty confident OSU keeps Zeke OSU is a little worried about numbers. I thought they were in the clear when Jacobs stayed home (as suggested by OSU) but I guess not.
-
He visited Mizzou the weekend before last and kinda shut everything down. No interviews or anything. Obviously people started worrying. nevadabuck on Scout says not to worry but it's still worth paying attention to for sure. And now I guess OSU might lose their punter to Alabama...lol. Saban trolling Urban for a punter. C'mon son. Update: Townsend, the punter, was supposed to have a signing ceremony thing at noon. Now pushing it back to 4pm. He would likely start as a true freshman if he went to OSU. Bill Greene on Scout says it's not a big deal because there are 10-15 division 1 caliber punters who will sign with no one today. So if they really want/need a punter they can find one today or even over the next couple weeks if they really wanted to.
-
#1 class now on Scout and Rivals, #2 on 247 Composite,, #3 ESPN. And as expected 3* WR Taivon Jacobs will be staying home and playing for Maryland. Now just need to wait for Ezekiel's decision/announcement/signing/whatever at 5PM. Heck of a day so far. OSU's "war room" as Bell announced... http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/2129063/kerry-coombs-vonn-bell.gif
-
And holy fucking shit he pulled it off. Clark and Bell this morning. Tons of reports flying for about a half hour that Bell was a done deal to Tennessee and that Urban had leaked it to ruin his announcement in bitterness... then Bell just goes and announces for OSU. Unbelievable. As Brady Hoke once said and is probably saying again today... not... not good.
-
Like I said, I'd take Bell over any remaining recruit on the board. Over Wilson, over Clark, over keeping EzE, etc. Will be interesting to see if Urban can pull that one off.
-
And now it looks like Taivon Jacobs may not be in the class. Could be a good sign for OSU and Clark. Could just be a result of OSU picking up Wilson. Who knows. There's really only 1 spot left in the class so "losing" him opens up space for Bell AND Clark tomorrow without needing a current player to transfer.
-
Bill Greene on Scout, with good reason, had basically written off James Clark. But I guess there's some bit of info out there that made him put him back in the fold tonight. Clark spent this past weekend in Gainesville (his 6th visit to Florida) and for some reason there's something out there that made Greene post that maybe there's something else going on. Lots of people starting to jump on the Bell to OSU bandwagon. I really hope so. I would have taken him over Wilson or Clark in a heartbeat not just because he's ranked higher on most sites but because OSU needs a good safety. It's been too long since they've had a truly elite one. Ezekiel Elliott's dad posted a Youtube video tonight somewhat chronicling the recruitment of his son between OSU and Mizzou. At the end there was this image... http://i.imgur.com/xMAcWle.png Really hope OSU holds onto him. He and Wilson are nothing alike but you know teams were blowing up his phone/Twitter/e-mail/whatever after Dontre committed to try and keep planting that seed of doubt in his mind that he and Wilson are going to be competing for the same reps.
-
Welp, final weekend before signing day next Wednesday. Some interesting stuff going on I guess. Bill Greene on Scout posted a pretty good summary of what's left now... 3 & 3 as he called it. Gotta keep 3. Zeke Elliott possibly staying home with Mizzou, Trey Johnson possibly reuniting with the guy who got him to commit to Auburn in the first place who is now at Tennessee and Donovan Munger maybe to FSU. Then there are 3 guys not committed to OSU left on the board... Dontre Wilson, James Clark and Vonn Bell. Bama, for some reason, appears out of it for Bell now. Different people having good feelings about Clark AND Wilson for whatever reason. Wilson visits Texas this weekend (no one seems to think they have a shot, Oregon-OSU battle). Clark is supposed to be making his 6th visit to Florida this weekend but maybe they don't have room or maybe Clark is just that enamored with OSU's business school and signs with the Buckeyes on Wednesday. Bell has shut things down and will announce Wednesday morning on ESPNU. Withers had the last say with him the other day and he and his family really like him so maybe he pulls it off. Tennessee is the competition here now. Bell is from GA but right on the border with Tennessee so it's really the home school in this equation.
