I disagree. High 40's, cloudy, and mostly dry on Friday. What weather simulation are you looking at?

Ambitious project. Weird and gargantuan, but ambitous. And you manage a lab ...... I think I'm getting the picture. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/imagesCAKWYCRZ.jpg You'll fit right in here. +rep

Why, thank you Jones. I guess we could now say that you've got a purdey mouth ..... but I bet men have told you that before. And shame on you for guessing English. It was made in the good ol' U S of A. A.H. Fox Exhibition Grade by Connecticut Shotgun (Tony Galazan).

I wouldn't worry about that. It's not like anyone gets carried away on something as utilitarian as a shotgun. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/gun%20pics/15288-2T.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/gun%20pics/15288-5T.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/gun%20pics/15288-7T.jpg

They're open 10-6 today. I've got to stop in and get my trap shooting card punched before the end of the month anyway.

cleaning kit and case are the necessities, everything else depends on what uses you plan to put it to. Vances and Dick's have good prices, as do a number of the other big stores. I like to take a stroll through Black Wing to get an idea of what's available. Even though I'm a member there and I shoot there, I don't buy much of my accessories there. If you want to come up and stroll through the place, call me. I've also got a ton of trap/skeet shooting tokens.

It's an excellent article on how Bryce and his family took over a fledgling business and built it up to the success it is today. It emphasized their reputation for friendly service and integrity. It was the front page of the car section, as I recall, but mine's thrown away now. It explained a little about the process of repairing wheels and how their services are the fraction of a cost of a replacement wheel. It also quoted their inventory of stock wheels, which was a very large quantity, although I admit I don't recall the figure. Anyone who's dealt with Wheel Medic would be quick to agree that they deserve all the praise they got in the article.

Don't you believe in Santa? Mebbe you should.
-
Santa has noticed your generosity towards your family, Pat. I know this, because Santa and I smoked a couple of choice Cohibas in the pre-dawn hours this morning just as he finished his deliveries. His elves are working on something special for you which should be finished in a week. Because he was Santa, he knew exactly what you wanted. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/hood.jpg

Those fender mirrors really set the thing off ...... -
I purchased it new, 20 years ago, at a Sam's Club for around $100. It's one of two watches I own. People see the watch, assume it's something expensive and comment on it, and I always respond, "It's nothing fancy .... just a Seiko, but I like it." I had no idea it was rare, and it's really taken a lot of abuse over the decades. I guess I can't complain. Buy quality, buy once.....
-
Jeez, I hope it's not too rare. (My daily watch for the last 20 years) http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/001.jpg

So very true. As a number of people have posted, it's all relative--a couple of hours of freezing rain shuts down Atlanta for two days, whereas two feet of snow in Syracuse doesn't close the schools. If you live long enough and/or travel wide enough, you'll get to experience some wonderful weather and prolly also end up with some great stories of weather you didn't think you'd survive. I'm jaded enough that it's funny to me to hear our local media (and a few CR members) squawking like Henny Penny everytime there's a long range forecast suggesting a winter storm. I'm hoping you guys who plow snow and fling salt for an income get the weather you need. And if the snow comes, I hope that people who believe that their AWD cars and SUV's can defy the laws of physics will show some restraint so they aren't hurting innocent people and contributing to the high cost of insurance. Re-post, for your viewing pleasure, of a century storm that some members here remember: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=77147

Speak for yourself. When I have my hair cut, it's not like an oil change. More like a Maaco whole car paint .....

You're prolly too old for this forum and definitely too modest. Welcome anyway.

His website lists all prices for the specific pens in stock. They start at 19.95. The majority of his fancy pens are in the $35-50 range. The extra large ones that I like, with the 22k filled hardware and exotic woods, run in the $100-$180 range. The 30-06 casing pens are $35-39, depending on the wood you want. Here is the curly maple that Car Whore asked about: http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/pens/curlymaplebright.jpg

He texted me this morning and said he has a dozen 30-06 pens in stock, all in the darker woods, except he has one spalted maple (light wood). He can make you one this weekend if he has the wood you want in stock. If he has to order the wood, it would be after Christmas before he could deliver the pen. Thanks for the interest. The people who have purchased these pens have all told me they're very happy with them.
-
No, I don't have any of the rifle pens. I texted him to see if he had any in stock not listed on the website. I know he sold a boatload at the Christmas craft fair in Grove City last Saturday. I know he has the kits in stock. If he has the wood in stock, too, he can prolly have it at the end of the week for you. If not, it would be 2 weeks because he'll have to have the wood shipped to him. I'll PM you when he texts me.

http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/new%20pens/group.jpg This will be my last "plug" on CR for my buddy who has started a part-time business handcrafting writing instruments. A few of you got free pens from him, and a number of CR members have since purchased pens and mechanical pencils from him. Lots of photos are on my first thread about him (page 2 has additional photos): http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79056 His e-store is up and running, although the photos aren't the best: http://www.custompencrafter.com/ What you order online today, he will priority ship tomorrow, usually 2nd day delivery in Ohio. Lots of pens just under $20 up to $50. Gift boxes range from free up to handmade wooden inlaid boxes. I've purchased around 30 pens from him for my personal use, and they're mostly the large, pricey ones, up to $175. Obviously, I think they are well worth it (some comparable ones are over $500 on other retail sites). If you have an interest in a pen such as that, let me know and I'll bring a few along to Cars & Coffee Saturday. They have no signs of wear, and I'll box them as new, throw in a couple of refills, and you're just left to wrap them for Pop. I'll have him make ones to replace whatever might be bought from my own supply. Unfortunately, he can't custom make you a pen by Christmas, but his online store is pretty well stocked. http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/new%20pens/PICT0004.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/new%20pens/PICT0006.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/new%20pens/buckeyeburldivided2.jpg http://i355.photobucket.com/albums/r445/martyr65/new%20pens/PICT0009.jpg
