I was shocked at some of the common and inexpensive cars with small but very power dense engines. I also had never heard of an SSC Ultimate Aero (204 hp/liter) It wasn't that long ago when over 100 hp/L was considered very impressive in a stock motor.

Consider that diesel isn't the most readily-available fuel in some remote areas .... Having owned between 8 and 10 diesel vehicles, I can attest that it is pretty frustrating to have to drive an hour or more out of your way on a Sunday to find somewhere to buy diesel fuel.

I'm okay with racing the Camaro now, knowing that you have a way to tow it back home after it breaks. Seriously, very nice truck. Going to do anything with the bed, like install a cap, tool box, tonneau cover?

Wow. Just wow. I've lived so long that our understanding of one of the most basic tenets of physics has changed in my lifetime. When I was in high school, my physics teacher, Albert Einstein, taught us that the speed of light was a constant (in a vacuum) and unaffected by the speed of the light source. Last night the story was that he didn't want to race any "American muscle." So Josh asked him if he would race the Benz. He hesitated, then asked which one. When we told him, he then said, "I'm still breaking-in my motor and don't want to race." :bs:

I could, but just in case the kid in the Skyline shows up, I want to be able to go up to him, yet again, and ask him to race for 100. I've grown tired of hearing him yap about how bitchin' fast his car is, and he shuts up after he gets called out by .... um, about everyone.
