You mentioned "starting problem" but I don't know if that means the car won't start at all or if it's just not starting as it should. If the car will start and run, would it be worth it to try running some Techron in the tank before going to an injector rebuild? I had two different cars (not rotaries, though) that didn't get driven as much as they should have, and seemed to have injector issues. Techron cured both.

Sounds like a great deal. I've used a 2017 Accord Hybrid with the CVT as a daily for the last 43k miles and I have no criticisms of the basic car. It'll be at the end of its lease in October and I think the residual is about 15k. If gas prices were higher, it would be a steal since it gets an honest average of 48-51 mpg, slightly lower in winter. In the current market, mpg doesn't seem to be such a big issue. It served well as a people hauler (very roomy and soft ride), moving van (big trunk), long-distance transport and daily beater. Great tech and interface even in my stripped-down model. The only repair it had was when a groundhog ate some of the wiring harness when it was parked at work. That was an expensive repair that insurance picked up. I'm not sure if the non-hybrid models have the same soy-based wiring, so may not be a concern for you.

It's a good group, largely tuner cars but sometimes there are classics and an occasional supercar. I'll be headed there unless it's postponed at the last minute. I recommend social distancing precautions if you choose to attend.

I had the wagyu sliders. One was pretty good, one was well-done (not my taste). Very reasonable for food truck fare. They had a pretty reasonable social distancing set-up for a food truck in a crowded event. I took the AMG GTc drop top -- not really a crowd pleaser, but it's what I had handy. If I'd taken a JDM, I would've spent most of the evening answering questions.

I ended up getting stopped in Clarksburg while the bike ride was passing through, so I bypassed and went north to US 22 and headed east to Circleville, only to hit the same 1500 bikes turning towards Circleville, too. :dumb: I drove around the loop twice, stopped at Taesty's food truck, as recommended. Lots of fun cars and the crowd was pretty friendly. Not a CR meet, but a good warm-up for one. And it was perfect weather for having the top down.

I wouldn't argue that we should take foolish risks with our health or the health of others, but neither should we let our own anxieties do a greater harm than the virus is likely to do.

Do you recall what we had at the Hangout? If it's what you're looking for, I would be happy to work out something. IIRC there were four controllers plus the two steering wheel/pedals/feedback thingies. It was all boxed up from the Hangout when I left in the spring and is all still boxed up in my new place. I'm sure Pat will know the details because he helped me set it all up. Once I get settled here I wanted to take the whole mess to a gaming store and sell it.

I will include a fitted canvas trunk case with the optional accessories package and also the gamekeeper slip-in case. I have the original invoice and related paperwork. I put 25 rounds through it and put the gun away. It was going to need professional fitting for me to shoot well with it and I debated having that done, knowing that down the road it would decrease the value of the gun to start sawing on it. I haven't shot for some time and it's not looking as though I'll be getting back into the sport. I have an excellent gun for trap and sporting clays. It's a Valmet 412ST over/under 12 gauge. Although I have since purchased more expensive guns, I always shot best with the Valmet. Although the Finns made a bazillion of these, you don't see many around in good condition. Great job again, Rick. You run a first-rate show and the students are always very enthusiastic. It was good seeing all the CR folks who attended. I'm counting on getting back into the swing of the car scene in 2020 when the house projects begin to taper off and I'm finally done with trying to live out of moving boxes.
