  1. Yeah, tax credit question was towards a new volt. Looking for one under 20k miles if I go used
  2. Anyone know about the $7500 tax credit???? The way I read it..... the $7500 goes to your taxes if you owe. So, if you owe $8500 for 2014, you would only owe $1000 once the credit is applied. But if you owe $6500, you would owe nothing once the credit was applied (you don't get $1000 back) I usually get about $800-$1000 from my refund, mainly due to interest paid to my mortgage. So, would I get nothing from the credit?
  3. I don't plan on keeping it forever. Found a new 2014 at Dave Gill that was still showing an *October Only* lease special, but it was a 10000/year mile allowance.
  4. Yeah, I found one with 14k miles. Probably not Certified but I'll check. Thanks, that's a lot of good info
  5. Give me some Pros and Cons as a Daily Driver. I found a 2014 Volt with lower miles that looks like a decent deal. I want to eventually get into a Tesla but probably going to wait until the Model III comes out in 2017. I figured the Volt will give me some experience on a plug-in before then. I have an STI and Wrangler for other cars, this will be the 3rd.
  6. Nice pick. Love the color. My STI just turned from a garage car to DD.

  8. I have HD antennas and Netflix. I watch a lot of PBS now... They now have DVRs for HD free TV so you can record prime time shows, but I dont have one yet.

  12. He called it his fun money, I'm assuming he isn't hurting for cash. It would be a fun retirement or part time job.
  13. Just used Uber last night to pick up my car from the mechanic. Talked to the driver a little bit. He is a semi-retired guy. He does Lyft and Uber using two different cell phones. Does it about 30-35 hours a week and clears $500 probably before expenses. He preferred to work during the day and if he did nights, he would stop at midnight as to not deal with really drunk drunks. Yesterday, for example, he said he was non-stop from 8am-8pm. He said it was probably the cold weather that helped him get riders.
  14. The old man in me says ATS-V with a tune. Guessing 500-550hp. Then mustang, hellcat, z/28
  15. what was it G.W.'s lackeys say? oh yeah: we fight them over there, so we don't have to fight them here.

  18. I just went to Franklinton for the first time a couple weeks ago to a bar called Rehab. It was a cool little spot for anyone looking for a not-so-crowded area.
  19. I have some 225 55 16 summer tires with some tread left on a set of wheels. Tread is even on all of them
  20. Off topic, but what year? I'm looking for a stock suspension for my 2002.
  21. Marinas are the best places to find it, but usually 87 or 89 octane. No gas stations have it anywhere in the Columbus area
  22. Was I supposed to put this in the tire swap thread?
