  1. A Trolls eyes are very light sensitive silly. They need all the protection they can get.
  2. Get in touch with Anson. He's worked on more than a few of these.
  3. GTI done yet??????:ninja:
  4. We tried to buy my wife a couple for her birthday from the kids. The pet stores said they couldn't sell them because they were a choking hazard.

Yeah, run as much hard line a possible when I put a system together, then again I've never built a 100% E85 car.
  6. I'd rock that, but the headlights are terrible.
  7. Did you just watch The Terminator? Or have you been counting it down? I thought it was in 1997.
  8. Easy stuff. I had to o one last year when I sold the Durango.
  9. I feel silly posting this so late, but Andy came out Sunday and did a work up on the Bimmer. He spent about 4 and a half hours working it over. His wife came out and handled the interior. A+ job. There were some pretty nasty scratches in the door and quarter panel that initially he wasn't sure if they'd go away, but they are gone. Sadly I don't have any pics. I'm gonna have to re-wash it. It was covered in Pollen 20 minutes later, and my son left dirt on the carpet. But nobody has touched the glass. #1 Auto Pet peeve for me. I'll wash it tomorrow and get some pics up. So long a it doesn't rain.

    Used Oil

Just so everyone knows, Used Oil is: Engine Oil, Transmission Fluid, Gear Oil, Hydraulic Fluid, Brake Fluid, Cutting Oils, Drawing Fluids, etc.. It can be Synthetic or Conventional.
  14. I would tend to think if the head is cracked the plug would be pretty clean-to nearly white with crust all over it. I'd say that thing just needs a tune up.
  15. I like it. When are you putting a "Bottle" on it.

Most of the modern hoses are made to withstand the higher Ethanol content in modern fuels. Just to scrimp and get the cheap stuff. If it were straight Meth, or something similar you'd do yourself a favor and drain the system to keep it from corroding anything and swelling the rubber lines shut.

    Used Oil

Honestly, they're junk. And that's not because I don't sell them. They'd work okay in a light oil environment like a Machine Shop with a lot of Water Soluble Oils, but eventually the "bugs" can't break down all the oils and die off. Then you're left with 20 gallons or more of Oily water to get rid of. Plus the filters. All Hazardous Waste. Not necessarily RCRA Regulated, but it's not something that can just go into the trash, or down the drain. The bulk of the Aqueous solutions we use are either Citrus or Alkaline based. We change them out on a regular basis, keeps the unit clean, disposes of the spent cleaner, and you get a uniform cleaning process, no filters to buy, or clean out for less money.

    Used Oil

There is a large Dealership near 33 that uses Oil Burners to heat all their shops that is setup to accept used oil.

    Used Oil

I envisioned something like this. I've got probably 80 gallons myself.(monthly oil changes) It may be adventageous to find a garage that will take it rather than say Autozone, Advance etc. Problem with that is they need to file as a TSD (Treatment,Storage,Disposal) Facility with the EPA. I've got a possible solution but I want to make sure its viable first.

    Used Oil

As many of you know I am the Branch Sales Manager for an Environmental/Industrial Services Company. As we have been moving forward and expanding Services that are provided. In addition to Parts Washer Service, Bulk as well as Containerized Waste Disposal, we built an Oil Re-refinery in 2010/2011. With a Capcity for up to 50 million gallons a year. What this means is we are paying top to near top dollar for Used Oil. What I'm looking for here is anyone that works in a Shop, owns a Shop, Garage, Truck Shop, or Factory whatever. I want to give away my Companies money. What we aren't paying for is Oily Water, Antifreeze, etc. We are more than happy to dispose of it for you. The amount we are paying will vary with generation frequency, amount, water contenet <10%, etc. I will say minimum amount paid is .75 cents per gallon. This is a good thing up until a few weeks ago we were not paying much over .50cpg. And that was like pulling Teeth. If you have Parts Cleaners I can set that up too. Solvent or Aqueous Based. We will dispose of anything short of Biohaz, Munitions, and Radioactive wastes. Unfortunately Shade tree guys with a gallon or two still need to take it down to a Parts Store or Prooper Disposal facility. Or take to a buddies business add to his and send him to me. We're looking for the stops that are going to be 100 gallons and up. He'll thank you for the extra cash. I make a ton of Cold Calls all day, but I can't get everywhere. PM me, or Call on my Company phone (614) 940-3944 if you are interested in setting up a meeting for an assesment of what you have. If you want to check out the company Profile go here: http://crystal-clean.com Thanks
  22. I have a strange little fetish thing for Alanis. Even if she is Canadian.
  23. We ran a huge set of jacketed manifolds on there. The primary diameters were 2 1/8" and 4" outlets with short risers. On tubular headers, the lines plumb into the lowest part of the tubes. If you're gonna keep it through the transom a set of block huggers would get the job done. The cam you have doesn't have a whole lot of overlap so hydrolocking won't be an issue. Meaning it won't suck the water back through the exhaust port. Not a lot of water is gonna run through there so it won't be a problem.
  24. :bowing: I'm betting they own a Tire Shop, or they are Honda fans.
