2k isn't bad. As long as everything works. I would likely offer 13-1500 on it and see what he says. Look at dash lighting, and window regulators. Pretty easy fixes, but common.

Have you ever seen some of the cars that get put on the track? I'm all for Survival of the fittest, but I wouldn't wanna be around when things go wrong for them. 1/8 is fast enough.

Nasty buggers, and I do not ever want to meet one. I nabbed one of those Centipedes the other night in the bathroom. The boy was screaming bloody murder at it. He gets freaky around Ants so I'm sure he was ready to give up and die.
