Static electricity is your enemy. Typically they're not too bad to replace. Most wheel mounted ones are held on by screws through the back of the wheel. The pasanger side should be in a bracket with a few bolts to hold it on place. Does the dash have a panel it came out through (Like a flip up panel) or did it split the cover when it deployed?

Definately check the ground for thatlight, and try cleaning the socket as well.

I hate to say it Brian, but I'd call it part of growing up. 1. I think there is plenty of wit around here. And a lot of idiots. 50/50 nearly 2. There are plenty of assholes too.
