  1. I'm amazed you don't have a skid plate on it.
  2. http://columbus.carsandcoffee.info/ Blah what a bunch of hosers.
  3. Reason 1,435,897,974 to stick to drinking from bottles.
  4. Welcome Kale. I forgot to PM you on the exhaust.
  5. Welcome, nice cars. Rumor has it I have a fetish for VW's. If I see you tooling around Gahanna I may do dirty things to your car. ABA should move that thing around pretty good. 87 was first year for 16V in GTI here. Not that I would know that or anything.

  7. That small peice is always crazy expensive. Safelite wanted over 300.00.
  8. Call Harrs. They were the cheapest in town when my jetta was broken into last year. Same rear 1/4 glass.
  9. Thanks, I'm looking forward to doing them.
  10. Looks much better than the previous generation. Having owned one and gotten rid of it, I'm still trying to figure out what it did well. Towing nope, room for three kids nope, fuel mileage nope, Take up tons of room yes. We had a 2000ish Grand Cherokee at the same time, and while smaller in every dimension it was more comfortable, same motor, better mileage, and didn't cry like a little girl when I put more than groceries in the back.
  11. Don't worry Jones. I'll still flirt with you. But I'm putting myself on a strict diet of not posting in the Romper Room.
  12. Bad switch possibly, may try figuring out which circuits are for the low beams and tracing back to see where they are not getting power.
  13. Thanks Steve. Those wheels came out killer. P&P is gone. While it was fun, it also came with a huge expense tacked on the end. It also had a steep learning curve. I spent the bulk of the winter trying to decide how serious I was gonna be with this. So after a lot of thinking, talks with the family, I'm going to move forward and see if I can get this to flourish.
  14. With the new year came a lot of changes. The latest is a name change. This is something that I've wanted to do for some time. It ties in a number of relevant factors for this endeavor. The most obvious in derelict love for German vehicles. Powder is self-explanatory. And the inside joke of where all the work takes place. So, I'm hoping this goes smoothly, and this continues to grow like it has. I'm already backed up which is good. Obviously Powder Coating is the primary, as well as Ceramic and Polishing. When I get a few minutes to myself I'm going to start playing with Frictional and Oil shedding coatings as well. I will be posting up more work that has been done recently, as well as making it out to Sanctioned as well as General Gatherings. A few things done recently: http://i776.photobucket.com/albums/yy46/PandPPerformance/imagejpeg_2_5.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/001-4-1.jpg http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w351/Pats16Valve/P%20and%20P%20Performance/049-1.jpg
  15. I may have missed it earlier. Did you you do the Air Brush work yourself? It's bad ass.
  16. I still love you...
  17. If the car in question is worth more now than when it was purchased, get it appraised. Going with the assumption this is for insurance reasons they may require an appraisal anyway. That is the tack I would take.
  18. You sir are a Zen Master. + Rep
  19. Looking much better man.
  20. Old English cars= terrible electrics. When they run properly they're great. The other 350 days of the year leave it under a cover

I hit that 3-4 times a day, it was murder in the GTI. After I'm some tinkering with the 328,its onto my B3Q. I'll man up for a real suspension on that.
