  1. I never thought I would be on Columbus Racing posting a review of a cake, but here I am. I had a photo of a pillow as reference for Tina and she went above and beyond for a first birthday cake. This was the first cake I have ever bought and I will be coming back for more. Price - holy crap I was expecting something 3 times as much. I don't think you can get regular non-custom cakes for the price of her custom ones. Taste - holy crap the best cake I have ever eaten. I don't even like frosting and I ate every last bit. Pics... The Pillow The Cakes... The damage. (not much, she was way too neat) Thanks a ton! http://www.sweetdesignsspecialtycakes.com
  2. Let's wrap it up with some before and afters... See ya...
  3. The wing. You can see on the right the scratches, on the left nearly full correction... Near side, bad. Far side, good. First pass looking better! Now lets do a final pass with a finishing polish and a black Lake County pad... Looking meaner already! On to the wax. If the German car gods themselves jerked off in a container and sold it for $50 this would be the result. From our friends in Germany we have Sonax Carnauba Wax. Goes on like butter... And comes off like butter...
  4. ... paint to be a pain in the ass! This Cobra came to me with a decade of paint abuse. I don't think it was ever even washed correctly. Years of going through a paint-swirling automatic wash had taken its toll. Since time was against me my focus was 80-90% swirl correction and I wasn't going to worry about anything else (no wheels, vinyl top, etc). Paint only. I would not be going after many deeper scratches and tracers which would require much more time (and a rotary). Oh the horror... You get the idea. Now let the cleansing begin! I am starting with a wash using Chemicals Guys Citrus Wash. Great for stripping off any residual waxes, etc. I then followed up with a claybar. Let the healing begin. Test area after an initial pass... meh... Getting better (LOL at my face):
  5. I am about to stop as well. I have sold the same item THREE times and not one person actually paid for it. There are NO consequences to a non-paying buyer. Here is the message I received: Go ahead & relist the item! I bought anutha headphone for a cheaper price!! Thank u n im very sorry I like how he decides he doesn't want to pay for it!
  6. Being nice in the thread doesn't mean I didn't neg rep. :gabe:
  7. Hello. Yea get some pics up. Mods? Plans?
  8. well put. I can only think of one person in Columbus that I would let use a rotary on a vehicle and they aren't on this board any more.
  9. You can pay more if you wish. But yea $25 and you have to come pick it up. I can help with loading it into your vehicle.
  10. I don't use it daily obviously. Never had negative feedback, never had a problem. I just need more feedback I think. Hard to do however when people don't leave it.
  11. I always list with "no international shipping" but I do see that you can go further and exclude certain continents/areas as well. I will try that out thanks.
  12. eBay is going to shit. - The fees are too damn high. - I have been a member for over a decade and PayPal still holds funds for 21 days. Yes, you can get it sooner but you have to go through a ton of hoops including the buyer leaving positive feedback which often times they never do even if you hound them. - If you go through their shipping system with USPS or UPS they withdraw the funds from the sale to cover shipping and you can't even figure in materials, etc if you want. - As a seller you cannot leave a buyer negative feedback! So as a buyer you can bid and win on whatever you like and NEVER PAY because sellers have NO recourse. I keep getting burned by this. It's like every person from bumfuck countries bid and win stuff and never pay when they realize shipping is going to cost a ton. I always say shipping to the US only and nobody pays attention to it. :fuuuu:
  13. 35" with an extra inch or so on each side behind the lip. Yep. Works great either way. The cabinets below still give you plenty of storage.
  14. read this article. may answer some Q's... http://www.macrumors.com/2011/09/08/foxconns-iphone-5-production-already-hitting-150000-units-per-day/ Details on the iPhone 5 remain scarce, with conflicting information pointing to either an only slightly larger display of up to around 3.7 inches on a device similar in size to the iPhone 4 or a significantly larger but thinner device with a display likely around 4 inches.
  15. Check out Handbrake to rip it: http://handbrake.fr/
  16. Welcome. Get some pics up quick.
  17. You should post your list so we don't suggest stuff you already have.
