I feel like this will be a flop, all the information it shows you is in the OWNERS MANUAL (Which people dont seem to know what those are anymore), and its never going to show you how to tear your motor down and replace a headgasket.

 

What about different submodels of cars? Different locations for things within the same body, etc. I just dont see this taking off, we already have OBD I/II Scanners and Hayes repair manuals and those 2 together is way more info than this app will ever dream of.

 

Plus how can i trust an app when it doesnt even show you to pour the oil out of the bottle the right way to prevent spills, or has the same oil bottle looking animation for the radiator. That might confuse dumb people.

Any mods on yours? I know every year its got a slight bump in power and slightly different looks. Well i know this years has slightly different front bumper, and i think the foglight changed in one of the previous years, but i know its changed some. I also watched something about the GT-R on youtube and the main guy behind it wants to change it every year and improve on it.

Been following the restoration on them for a while. Those haulers are badass, it'd be cool to see some modern trucks done up like that.

Probably. I know my nieghbors was well over $500 (Im thinking closer to 800) and he also had some like $300 controller, (Had a BUNCH of settings on it and even a little LCD screen to monitor something) and he was NEVER able to really fly it around, wasnt the BEST but it definitely was a nice one, pretty big too. Every time i saw him fly it he crashed it within 5 minutes and then it was down till he fixed it, then repeat, Felt bad for the guy.

 

I have no freaking clue how he manages to control the helicopter and do the shit like that... My old neighbor used to have one and his never made it more than 30ft cause he wrecked it every time.

 

I am just speechless at how he flys that thing though....

I knew it was someones just couldnt remember who! Also i think the mirrors would of looked a lot better if you would of had the little piece below them black too, looks weird with that part white and the mirror itsself black. Would look much better if the mirror and the "Base" were black. Again, just my opinion.

I mean the way i see it, your not competitively racing in a class, so the automatic just takes the fun away. If your just going racing for fun, why not run the manual? Its more fun (In my opinion, but ive never driven an 8 sec auto rocket or anything), but i always have more fun rowing through the gears than just letting the auto do it for me. Granted im not as fast as i could be with an auto, but i have this car for fun, not to race for points in a series.

 

Seems like when your more worried about going fast, and shaving that little bit of time, using an auto and everything nearly automated it takes the fun away from the car.

Id say 6 speed swap it and drive it, everything is a lot more fun with 3 pedals. Who cares if the miata is a manual, two is always better than one imo. There sports cars i think they deserve to be manuals.

Interesting fact, the part of the Truck that says "CRAGAR, HEADERS WHEELS IGNITION" opens up and has a "Mattress" (If you like to call it that) in there and a window that peeks into the back of the truck where the drivers would rest/sleep alot.

Question, how much does a 67 Stang go for these days? How much does an LS9 go for? How much to upgrade a 67 Mustang to modern technologies? Basically, can you or I replicate this car for less than their asking price?

Its not uncommon for the price of a "Fully Restored" car to hit the price tag of this car if your having a reputable shop build it. A frame off restoration, or using a new frame, new engine / brakes / custom interior / body work / etc etc + shop labor, then paint and whatnot can easily hit $250-300k.

From what i read on the comments, the trucks are privately owned and decently modified so they can get there the fastest.

I believe whoever gets there first gets to tow the vehicle. I feel like a lot of them end up wasting a lot of gas racing to accidents and not getting the tow.
