  1. Uh... what?

    In the article 1st

"Schumacher was in a coma when he arrived at the University Hospital Center of Grenoble and required immediate brain surgery, hospital officials said in a written statement." ,

    But slightly below that is

"He was conscious but in shock when he arrived in the hospital. To be able to determine the exact causes of the accident, we have to wait for a police report.".

    Theres also this

""He was alone and he wore a helmet. He hit his head on a rock," Gernignon-Lecomte said."

    Then this below again,

""We ask for understanding that we cannot give continuous information about his health. He was wearing a helmet and was not alone. For his fall, no other person was involved."

    Man this article is confusing.

  2. The other driver's insurance should also pay for new car seats. Anytime a seat is in an accident, they recommend it be replaced due to the plastics and restraints being compromised. Good luck.

The actual seat? Really? Never heard this before. Got any tech articles about this or something i can read about it on?

  3. Errr.... there are two different cars being pictured. The first is the ford of the lady who hit him and the second is his maxima.

    Glad you are all right.

Makes sense, i was like damn that looks like a ford lol.

  4. Glad everyone is ok! From the front the car looked like a ford taurus or something lol, couldnt tell it was a nissan maxima until i kept scrolling down and saw the rear end! Talk about a big change since you were hit.

So she rear ended you, what did the front of your car hit? Another car?

  5. Don't think it really has much to do with horsepower, but more-so the lightning fast auto, as pointed out by Doctor T.

I know it has to do with the Dual Clutch Trans and how you can shift and never worry about lifting, but that gives them the advantage. Makes there horsepower numbers different compared to what people are used to because of the no-lift shifting all the time and staying in boost, thats why i was saying the above and why its like a cheat mode. Gotta love those shifts in the 100ths of a second range.

  6. Loved the new episode! I really wish there was some more driving of the car but i think it was my favorite episode. I really hope they do a part 2 or a second episode with this car! I was on YouTube yesterday refreshing the roadkill playlist waiting for the episode to come live! They posted on facebook they were having issues with it uploading cause it was so long and that it should of been up by noon pacific yesterday, but it wasnt, so i kept refreshing it every 30 till it came live! When i watched it it had 31 views lol!

Also LOL to the power that 440 makes.

  7. Id post pics but I had surgery yesterday, just a vasectomy, so in a couple days I will. But yeah the front motor mount bolts to the core support and the front cross member. If that helps.

Do you know if your core support is a bolt in or weld in? Reguardless that would be the best route, get the one from rockauto or wherever for $50 or a junkyard (Might be better getting new so you know the metal isnt fatigued already, cause if yours rusted out that bad the used one could look good but already be fatigued) then bolt/weld it in. You might also want to look into replacing the motor mount that bolts to the core support.

Well shit, then get one from a yard and bolt 'er in!

As long as its bolted in and not welded! But reguardless thats exactly what he should do.

  8. I was thinking it would be easier to bolt in a whole new piece than weld a small part. If its bad there wouldnt it be better to try to replace the whole thing?

I was under the assumption that it was rusted out at the frame, and not on the core support. I assumed (On your car) that the core support had nothing to do with the motor mount.

  9. Because it'd look retarded without the tips in the bumper?

And it's actually a 649 inch Pat Musi engine.

Ah i couldnt remember what was powering this thing, all i could remember was it was a big dollar big ci tt motor. Yeah it probably would look dumb without the tips, but i feel like they could do something to make it look better without them, i think it looks dumb with the tips on the rear and the exhaust coming out the side.

  10. Why are you looking at core supports? Didnt you say it rusted through where the motor mounts attach? Either weld in a patch panel and drill/tap it, or get rid of the car. Thats not safe at all to be driving a car like that, not to mention not good on the drivetrain with the motor bouncing everytime you take off. You think you would know these things since you work at auto parts stores.

A core support isnt going to help you if your mount is rusted through at the frame...

  11. E.Kanoo racing always has crazy fast cars. The one thing i dont get about this car is why they still have the "Stock exhaust tips" on the rear bumper when they have the actual exhaust coming from the front sides of the car. Also this car is a 572 bb tt motor i believe, i think its a Sonny motor.
