Id just suggest getting a program by XFX or nVidia (I have a XFX 9800GTX+) and just turning the fan speed down a little. If you not gaming it shouldn't have to be up high. Also if your running AMD you can turn on the Cool'N'Quiet technoligy. Just make sure that if you turn off you graphic cards fan that you monitor the temps on it.
