Need Assembly Line Associates- Canal Winchester
Fubar231 replied to Zx2guy19's topic in The Meat Market
What is done on these assembly lines? Interested, just dunno if its worth the drive for me (Dublin) but ill probably take a shot at it anyways. Background checks // Drug tests? Any resrictions on stuff like this? -
Not really, but i know my grandpa (Who gave this too me and said hes had it forever) is 92, and his dad lived to be like 96 and his dad to like 90 something. Also heard they were all close with there dad/family so it could have been in the family since. My Grandpa served and i believe his dad served too, not sure about anyone after that though.

Anybody else read this as "Stop smoking fatties" without the comma, and think of something totally different? :lolguy:

http://www.samsung.com/in/promotions/galaxycamera/ What are your guys thoughts?

Aluminum exhaust? I thought aluminum doesnt work for exhaust tubing as its melting point is so low and will warp from the hot exhaust. Or is this like Aluminized Steel?
-
Thats where one of my friends co-worker said to take it.

Yeah ive been reading stuff ALL morning, and everything ive read leads me to think its real. Just seems old and worn down like crazy. Waiting to hear more on this later Can be worth a few thousand up to 100k+. Read that one sold for 325k but it was in really good condition, but id be cool with anything really lol.
-
Lol yeah not putting it in coke. So ive tried a few things (Tried to write with it on paper to make sure it wasnt lead, doesnt look like gold/silver/copper/brass or any of that, strongly resembles pewter but its really dirty). I think i might take it to this coin/gold/jewlery place by my place and see what the old guy there says.

Heres the pics, best i could get with the Macro setting on my phone. Its supposed to be a 1776 continental currency coin. Ive read there any many variations of this coin, some with Currency spelled "Currency" and some "Curency", and some copper some tin some pewter. I believe this is a pewter one with the "Curency" spelling http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/Coin1.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/Coin2.jpg http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f302/SevereSarz/Coin3.jpg And this is something on the bottom of the coin and i cant tell what it says Also my grandfather gave me this coin and hes like 92 now, and he said hes had it a LONG time.

Are there any Coin Experts on CR? My grandfather gave me a coin thats supposed from 1776. Im about to take some pictures and post them up, but anybody know anything about coins? PICS BELOW

Isnt there Dana S60 for sale on here out of a SRT-10 Ram?

Put some better heads on the shortblock and drive it like that untill you can afford everything else you need for your turbo setup. Whats the CR of your current motor?

Well.... I guess I am keeping the car a bit longer
Fubar231 replied to JuicedH22's topic in Passing Lane
So im assuming the cylinder walls and the block its self had no damage done? Im not sure if i would just want to throw new rods/pistons in there without making sure the cylinder walls are fine. Also who knows, if you put a nasty built nitrous huffing 1k+ hp motor in there, you might want to keep the car a little longer. -
Wait for C7s to come out, pick up cheap C6z. Its hard to choose though because there both such bad ass cars, but if its just a toy and not a daily it'd be the Z for me. The V is more of a daily.

Wow that thing is crazy... I would love to drive this thing up/down pikes peak. Or turn it into a record setting 60-140 car :lolguy:

Posted this on my FB last night. Although it is nothing spectacular, its cool that hes 60 i suppose. Granted there are people a LOT older going a LOT faster.

Pics http://speednik.com/files/2012/12/GMLT1.jpg http://speednik.com/files/2012/11/LT1-02.jpg The new LT1 6.2L Gen 5 small-block for the 2014 Corvette is estimated at 450 horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque. GM says it represents the most significant revamp of the small-block in its history. http://speednik.com/files/2012/11/LT1-03.jpg Although similar to previous LS block designs, the LT1 block is a new casting and incorporates oil squirters. http://speednik.com/files/2012/11/LT1-04.jpg An all-new cylinder head design supports the engine’s direct-injection fuel system. The valve positions are reversed, compared to Gen 3 and Gen 4 LS engines. They measure 2.13 inches on the intake side and 1.59 inches for the exhaust. http://speednik.com/files/2012/11/LT1-05.jpg In place of the conventional flat-top piston, the new LT1 features an intricately sculpted head designed to help direct the fuel spray of the direct-injection system. http://cdn.lsxtv.com/image/2012/11/LT1-06.jpg There’s a lot going on with the LT1’s camshaft: At the front is the phaser mechanism for variable valve timing and at the rear is an additional triangular lobe that drives the engine-mounted high-pressure fuel pump for the direct-injection system. Also, A close-up look at the combustion chamber reveals how far the spark plug protrudes into it, to get the flame closer to the center of the chamber. http://cdn.lsxtv.com/image/2012/11/LT1-04.jpg There’s a lot going on with the LT1’s camshaft: At the front is the phaser mechanism for variable valve timing and at the rear is an additional triangular lobe that drives the engine-mounted high-pressure fuel pump for the direct-injection system. Also note the “towers” between the coil packs. They’re part of the LT1’s unique PCV system. http://speednik.com/files/2012/11/LT1-09.jpg The LT1 uses a very effective four-into-one exhaust manifold design similar to the LS7. http://cdn.lsxtv.com/image/2012/12/LT1-10.jpg An 87mm throttle body caps the LT1’s intake manifold – which definitely looks odd without fuel injectors in it. They’re now located in the cylinder heads for the direct-injection system. http://cdn.lsxtv.com/image/2012/11/LT1-11.jpg Richard Kimble’s detailed X-ray vision of the all-new Gen 5 LT1 engine. http://cdn.lsxtv.com/image/2012/11/LT1BLOCK.jpg

http://www.revell.com/model-kits/engines/index.html One of those 3 would probably be best, since they look to have the most realistic parts and the amount of them. (IE Alternator, Water Pump, Headers that bolt on ETC) Heres another link with a bunch of good ones http://www.hobbylinc.com/plastic_model_engine_kits

Whys the shifter against the dash...?
