Why not just focus on your turbo SBC? For the price of swapping another motor and getting it to the power goals you want, you could easily do it with your SBC. Hell, you could build a new pretty trick setup for the price of everything else.

Too bad we only get the 4 door version over here... If they had a 2 door one id be all for it. The 4 door one is cool but not as cool as the 2 dr.

Boosted 5.3 would be my first choice. What would be cool would be an LSj (I think thats it) from a turbo cobalt. Its the torque coming on early that likes to destroy those from what ive heard. As long as you dont ramp the boost in crazy fast, or put a large exhaust housing on it so boost comes on slow and you should be ok. Its when boost comes on hard and early is when things start bending and breaking.

I think about that too... these cars are getting just crazy fast... Just waiting for the 300 mph mile to happen... I dont think cars were ever tested at these speeds in a wind tunnel... (240-250+) are they?

Yeah when I saw that I laughed. This guy's RC cars are just crazy... Same here, but then I thought of below. Haha yep, At least I imagine this is the only way of getting it unhooked. Be cool if he somehow used magnets attached to the bumpers or something and was able to unhook the tow truck once hes got it unstuck.

I would start watching at the 2 minute mark. These RC cars are crazy, they have incredibly long range antennas or something, mounted cameras, microphones, a working tow truck with multiple cameras, these things are absolutely nuts. It looks like they even have a working gauge for something...

I clean off all the snow on the cars I drive during the winter, cause there dailys, no fun cars out when theres snow/salt. The thing that gets me is when theres a layer of ICE on someones car, then after its warmed up enough to loosen it, it comes FLYING off the car/truck @ 65-70mph on the freeway making a huge obstacle you have to dodge/hope it doesnt land on you while avoiding the other cars around you. Ive had mattress sized sheets of Ice come flying off of semis in front of me, thats definitely a PUCKER UP moment.

Do you have a micrometer you can check it with before and after to ensure the work was done properly? If im not mistaken i believe theres is manual. (Adjust how much is taken off kind of like a rotor turning machine)

These care are just pure amazement. Nitro cars are so sweet, and agree'd there is nothing compared to seeing/hearing these in person. The Kackle is just so awesome. And at WOT these things are so damn ridiculously loud...

It was coming... I dont even know where to start with this... They have enough problems as is, let alone a 5k one that was BEAT TO SHIT. Avoid these like rats with the plague. Take this advice. Drive what you have and save up money unless you ABSOLUTELY need a minivan... Man your threads are always so interesting... Your mind must be a wild place. I cant believe im agreeing with him, but EVERYTHING he said is 100% on point. You need to stop dreaming of having a fast car when you have a family and kids to take care of. The two of you combined probably arnt making enough to have 2 DD's and a sports car. Your time will come, but it will have to be later in life. You really just need to focus on your family, getting your credit up and a better job, and worry about sports cars and going fast later in life / in a couple years... Like everyone else has said... I cant believe you still dont get it...
