Someone sent this to me and it gave me a chuckle - thought I'd pass it on: I recently asked my friends' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted "to be President some day." Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, ''If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'' She replied, ''I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.'' Her parents beamed with pride. ''Wow...what a worthy goal.'' I told her, ''But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that! You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'' She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, ''Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50??'' I said, ''Welcome to the Republican Party." Her parents still aren't speaking to me.

Did they offer the Camaro in an auto back in the day? I can understand the V6 being an automatic, but not the high performance version.

If it's running on starter fluid and not by itself, it's not getting fuel... Test your fuel pressure, definitely, then go from there. :nod:

Same thing here. State Farm dropped me because of two accidents (neither were even my fault)!! The response I received was "[state Farm] isn't a 'high risk' insurance company." I'm now with USAA since they extended their eligibility requirements. Anyone prior military should use them...

How strange. I just replaced a fuel pump in a friend's S10 this last summer. Wonder if they're starting a trend... As far as I know, yes, you should hear the pump build pressure every time you turn the key on it shouldn't really matter. If it rolls over with injector fluid and you're hearing the pump being temperamental... then I would say you've found your problem. I might suggest borrowing a fuel pressure gauge from the local parts store (simple test). Good luck!

How dirty is it to begin with? Post a picture or something. And I HATE using tire foam in the engine bay - that stuff attracts more dirt than anything. There are a lot of things you can use to polish. I went to the Iron Pony and picked up some plastic polish that Yamaha makes for use on motorcycles - it works great on the plastic and hoses and doesn't leave everything wet and greasy. You can use it on any plastic trim, hose - whatever.

Where's the best place for an alignment? Lowering springs are going on in a week or two and I want to line up a place to go. Thanks.
