  1. Anyone have any idea what was going on? Police were cutting through traffic to block off cemetery rd and roberts rd exits off 270 north and southbound about 6-7pm last night. Didn't see anything on local news yet.
  2. Were you on continental DWS?
  3. Regardless of opinion or political affiliation, I appreciate you taking the time to compose that. Thanks for not just flinging poo. Who wants to spearhead counterpoint?
  4. Same motor. FYI, they were just as fast around a track as an e46M3 according to car mags, but back seats are pretty tight for big guys to feel important in. If you're going to be hauling business people in the back seats, stick with a bigger car than an A4/3-series size.
  5. There is a very good reason why old german cars are mostly worthless. It's called maintenance. While the aftermarket offers lower cost fixes and retrofits for common failures, in large part it costs as much to maintain as a $10k used car as it did when it was $$$ new. Have you ever looked at luxury british cars?

    New to me CZ

Had one for quite awhile. One of the few service pistols that will penetrate a propane tank. I'd shoot mine more but the ergos are somewhere between uncomfortable and miserable. Lots of very interesting features though. +1 on the firing pins, although non-shitty steel firing pins are available and fairly cheap.
  7. I tried to get a title on a motorcycle with a bill of sale, was a horrid pain in the ass. Had to do title search by VIN, send a registered letter to owner on file with bmv, wait a bunch of time, then apply for a court date for a judge to issue a title... which at the time was years out. This was back in 2005? hope things have gotten easier since then. tl;dr not even close to almost worth it in my experience
  8. the old megaphone mufflers were an endplate with passthrough pipe, and another endplate with a passthrough opposite at the narrower end of the megaphone. Pretty easy to make, and easily removeable. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NFgxNjAw/z/OtYAAOSwd4tTrc3-/$_35.JPG
  9. Oh, I get it. This is one of those threads where everyone posts something worthless then moves on. Done
  10. Hour count? When was it last run?
  11. I'm pretty sure I have some used non-cracked coil packs floating around the garage if you need one or two to replace the worst offenders short-term let me know
  12. Common problem with these. The mufflers sit a couple inches away and even though there's heat shields, everything is packed in there very tightly. Hear a lot of people with this issue, especially with 100k cars. Luckily they're pretty inexpensive and pretty easy to swap out.
  13. Let me know if zuppa ever comes back to that intersection. Thanks P.S. prepare yourself for the influx of a few thousand nationwide people commuting past your work in another couple years.
  14. Lane splitting was already covered in a different thread: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120338&highlight=lane+splitting Let's let geeto and mensan flame on in peace.
  15. Sorry to interrupt, but both vehicles involved in the impact are white Hondas. Please carry on.
  16. Not that red light cams would have prevented this accident... http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2015/03/23/columbus-ohio-columbus-to-drop-red-light-camera-tickets-due-to-state-law-change.html :gabe:
  17. The cheapy nightowl has BNC connections, two wires run from the DVR to each camera. I have cams outside and they've been fine in the weather for a year or so. Have to wipe the funk off the lens every few months to keep a clearish picture.
  18. I tried the cheapo nightowl system from micro center because I got a smokin deal on it. Worked great for a few months, then the software shit the bed and no longer works with the windows anymore. Retrieving recordings off the dvr is a major pain. The cameras are decent, easily enough to make out faces at close range, but are limited to about 30 feet in the dark.
  19. easily the funniest thing you've posted here so far
  20. New arrival to the "mustangs and below" class? Come run me on factory povertires and show me what's up
  21. I'll buy one in 20 years when gas shoots up to $25/gallon and they all get dumped for cheap. Then resell when gas drops back down to $15/gallon and people start buying trucks again. If I can find a manual.
  22. buy it, drain it, pave it, race it http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/cb/Hbfs_live.jpg/220px-Hbfs_live.jpg
  23. Yeah the ATF has been getting absolutely blasted from congress, although the NRA is probably sad this will cost them a boatload of new members. Either way, it's good news. At least for now.
  24. Funny you posted, I was driving around Sunday and said "Damn, some of these roads aren't even safe for my streetbikes" :lolguy: some 3rd world countries have nicer roads. Stay safe out there until they get patched up for the spring. I have seen columbus road crews out at all hours holding up traffic to patch potholes, and generally doing a laughably horrid job. Then the potholes are back opened up the next week. JOB SECURITY
  25. I usually have people meet me out in the country, somewhere reasonably close to freeways to allow for convenient arrival/departure with some woods nearby for ambience and a medic or aid station within a mile or so in case you get hurt. Not a single complaint yet.
