The RIA 1911s used to be wildly inconsistent. Maybe they've cleaned things up in the last couple of years, but back when I was looking at them (2 years ago) most were unreliable, horribly inaccurate (8" groups at 25 yards), sloppy, and built with junk parts. Given it is/was a bargain basement 1911. I hope they've gotten better. Copperhead when did you buy yours and what ammo/mags have you been using to get 4000 rounds through it so well? How many parts have you replaced in 4000 rounds?

Yeah and Infinity Ward has been re-skinning and slightly tweaking COD4 for years now and still charging full price instead of the $10 they should be getting for these "expansion packs." For shame Call of Duty!

If you go to look at a glock 19 make sure you check out the M&P as well. I went to buy a glock 19 and came home with an M&P9 for what it's worth, has been good for the past few thousand rounds although magazines are more expensive. I'd stay away from the cheap 1911s. I thought the Springfield "mil-spec" 1911 was a mediocre deal at $400, and they've gone way up. In my experience a cheap 1911 is nothing but jams, broken parts, and warranty work even from a reputable manufacturer.

Yeah, you have some ghost shit going on all right. You're going to need to invest in some EVP recorders, and make sure you document every sketchy thing that happens. Ghosts are like trolls. They like to push things every now and then, but they almost never do anything really crazy because they don't want a permaban. Mostly it's just an annoyance or entertainment depending on your outlook. They can be baited with the same tactics, happy hunting!

Without a fresh motor I'd rate it a $500 parts car. How far back do you have maintenance records? How many miles on the wheel bearings (especially the rears)? When was the last time the coil packs were replaced? How many miles on the control arms? When was the ABS controller rebuilt? Any maintenance on the steering rack/pump? Is the headliner falling down? How long have you owned this? Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to get an idea on how fresh everything is with the mileage. Thanks
