Me personally, I disarm before I enter if I want to go badly enough. I will not knowingly illegally carry. Disarming isn't hard for me as I rock a galco belly band and usually have it down by my waist to serve as an in the pants holster. So to simply answer the question, I am not greatly affected by no carry signs.

Tim, not trying to stir things up at all but this is a legit question, by you "not allowing" anyone to carry a firearm in your establishment, who does this prevent from carrying? The mofo that doesn't care what you allow or what you don't and is going to carry anyway? I mean, if someone wants to go into a bar and shoot people up, they are going to do it regardless of whether you "allow" them to. Or are you looking at it as, lets say, by you openly allowing people to carry on the premises, you are essentially inviting more people to carry? So insetad of 100 out of 1000 people carrying, not 1000 people out of 1000 people are carrying and of them is carrying now who may not have before because now you allow it and he decides to get wasted and shoot someone? Sorry if that is confusing, I am just trying to better understand a businesses perspective when deciding to prevent citizens from being equiped to properly defend themselves while on the premesis.

This has always been a stumbling block for me. Part of me wants to say that those who carry anywhere even where legally prohibited, are criminals, straight up. But the other part of me, looks at it as, It is my fundamental right to protect myself to the best of my ability. My getting a license just makes my life easier should I have a legal confrontation. In other words, by getting a license, I go from technically being a crook all the time to only being a crook part of the time which is fine with me, becasue I can ALWAYS protect myself. If I knew a CCW holder was carrying in a bar or restaurant or an extablishment sith signage prohibiting carrying, I wouldn't make a stink about it. I.E. it doesn't bother me. Not to say I do/have done it, but if tothers do it, I would not feel uncomfortable. Again, anyone who is going to shoot up a bar, is going to shoot up a bar, regardless of a piece of plastic some agency hands them or not.

I did not give my business to establishments other than (bars/restaurants) that had no carry signs. The exception was if I drove all the way to the other side of town to walk up the store I had never been to before and see the sign. At that point I disarm, walk in, get what I need, and leave, never to return again. I used to love shopping at the Thrift Store on cleveland less than .5 miles away from my house but I haven't been there since I got my CCW like 3 years ago. That kind of sucked. A few store in northern lights have those signs. I found them somewhat comical though. Who is that sign stopping from coming in with a gun? the guy that's going to rob you or the law abiding citizen that wants to pay for what they are taking? Idiots. I suppose you can't expect too much logical reasoning in da hood, but it still sucked because I really enjoyed the thrift store. Other than that though it didn't put too much cramp on my lifestyle as I really don't go out to drink too much. Maybe a couple times a year. I also usually carried a knife with me where I couldn't carry a gun, so I would have some form of protection. Funny thing about concealed knives though, I talked to a Mifflin Cop and two CPD officers and neither of them knew the official laws pertaining to carrying a knife.

I have had J red and J black and just could not finish the bottles. Not downing anyone who enjoys them, I just personally found them intolerable. 15yr French oak is where its at. Glenfiddich 12yr is good too.

I agree on the French oak, I need to get another one to keep on hand with the rest of the deliciousness. I got a bottle of it for free the first time I had it. My buddy's dad is a lawyer and was having a party and that was one of the bottles they had and it had been opened and like 1 shot was missing. He gave it to my friend after the party but my friend isn't big into whisky's so he gave it to me. WINNING! Had I not got that free bottle I probably never would have come around to trying it.

The stuff out of Islay is just a bit too smokey for me. I understand how people an enjoy it, but just too smokey for me to really enjoy in general. That's not to say I won't try new whiskey out of there though just to give it a shot...

While not single malt Irish, I bought a small bottle of Crown Royal Cask No. 16 on Friday, this is my 2nd time having had it (it's expensive) but this stuff is the truth. I put it right next to the bushmills 10yr. Obviously two compltely different whisk(e)ys, but I find it phenomenal.

Carfagnas is one of the things I miss most about Columbus. Their NY Strips are out of this world, all their brats and sausages, etc. Really loved that place.

Jeremy Clarkson talks about the Warthog from Halo

Anyone on here seen Landfall? I haven't done my research to see if the Warthog in there is all CG or what but it looks very real. Would be a pretty neat vehicle to drive imho. -
I know they had turbo regals in 1978, but GN didn't come out until 82 right? Anyway, I love these cars. Would love to own one some day. My brother owns an '85. I had an '86 Regal with the Olds 5.0L v8 and while not fast, I just absolutely loved that car. It was the first car my grandpa had ever bought new. Just something about that body style I really like.

I shipped a 12lb flywheel to Malaysia for $80 through fed ex but that was utilizing my former employer's discount. List was $234. I also shipped a pair of leather boots to denmark via fed ex and that was $35. I can't remember what list was. Your best bet would be to find someone who works for a big company that has an account with a major carrier and utilize their discount. Shoot, I shipped exhaust systems and transmission through fed ex for $35 using my works discount ha ha.

Crap, my apologies for forgetting that. $2800obo or trade for what's listed in the ad. thanks for looking.

OK, I Know it's almost pointless to put this on here as I live in TX but who knows, maybe there is someone on this board that has spent the last 5yrs looking for a rust free one and is willing to make a road trip out of it ha ha. Anyway, here it goes. I have a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R. It is completely stock and runs. (does need a battery, but it starts and runs fine) I bought it with the intention of doing a 4G63 swap, but right now my Talon is giving me enough of a headache that I don't have it in me to take on another full build, let alone a swap. It has 120K ish on the odometer I believe, I can check and get the exact mileage when I get home. This is a TX/OK car and I have the accident free carfax to prove it. It previously sat under a tree for 10yrs after the fuel pump went out but i now has a new fuel pump. Rust free as it is a TX car. Could use paint. The reason it is on a tow trailer from me picking it up is that it had a flat tire. I have a new rim now so that won't be an issue. It has leather interior (although the back seats are black and the front is maroon). If anybody wants a vid of it starting and running I can take one and send them the link, or if you are local you are more than welcome to swing through and check it out. I know there are some on this board that live outside, OH) I live in the DFW area of TX. $2800 obo I am also interested in trades. Only trades I am remotely interested in at this time, is a CLEAN running preferably stock 1Ga AWD. Prefer 1991 obviously as the 90's were bastards but if it's nice enough I would consider a '90. Must be a southern car though, rust free. I am sick of dealing with rust in places you can't see (I am from, OH). Prefer auto over 5spd but again, depending on condition I would entertain a 5spd. Also open to 2G GS-t (convertible preferred) and that would have to be an auto. Both cars referenced above I need to be close to stock. Not interested in you non-running "race car." "Yeah bro, it runs 10's, but it's currently not running, I think it needs a new battery or somehting." Not interested in hillbilly hack jobs ha ha. Anyway, thanks for looking. Hit me up if you are interested. If not, I will just drive it as I don't "need" to sell it. Not just Columbus, it is statewide. According to the OH revised code, minors are allowed to consume alcohol with parental consent. At least as of 8-9 years ago. I did my research back then ha ha.
