That dude that said he likes to stab people...lmao. Good watch.
-
So wait, the chics get mouthy with him, then physically assault him, then hop the counter, so he lays the beatdown, and he is the bad guy? Not saying I would have taken it that far, but maybe you shouldn't be assaulting McD's cashiers. Hopefully they learn from this and play nice the next time someone questions $50 bill.

TX drivers across this state stuck. Made me appreciate OH. Turn signals do not exist on the vehicles here, nor does the ability to properly merge onto the freeway, or the ability to use any common sense while driving. My family and I have lived in 5 different states and we all agree, TX has the worst drivers we have seen anywhere.

Pretty neat. I can do pretty good rings with my hookahs but not like that one dude spitten them out like a machine gun.

+1. I miss the service at oreilly's in former-prohibition-ville. Was nice to buy from people that actually knew something about cars. There is a very attractive young lady that works at the oreileys here in TX a few miles from my house. Obviously I am married so no matter to me but I am trying to get my dude richard to go up there and spit game. Oreilly's FTW!

That's how it usually goes.

Drive down Morse Rd. Then keep driving further. It's on the right hand side.

My praents used to take my brothers and I apple picking when we lived in central new york. It was a lot of fun. Not like the orchards in OH, these were bigger than anything I have seen here and lots of hills and valleys, streams and all that jazz. Apple picking is a good time.

here it is in a nutshell. Going to be up front and give you all the info I can because I don't want to get anybody's hopes up or anything then seem like a douche. I own my own busniness and in order for me to get the full tax deduction on a new vehicle, if it's a truck, it has to have at least a 6ft bed. I don't want a regular cab, would have to at least be extended, I prefer crew. I like 4WD but lets be serious, it's DFW, no real snow or need for 4wd/awd unless you drive nutty when it does eventually rain so RWD is fine, unless of course you just have a mind boggling deal on a 4WD ha ha because obviously if one can get more for less, they should. Leather is nice but not necessary. On the Equinox, Autotrader put it at $5711. That just isn't going to work. NADA Rough trade is $6650, and goes up from there. I definitely can NOT do $5711. I am better off to just keep it and have my wife drive it for the time being or bring it down and sell out right as they are hard to find for sale down here and don't last long when they are. I am on a tight budget which is why I am entertaining the thought, not committed to buying one right now ha ha. Right before the end of last year, my dad bough a brand new F150 FX2 and after they gave him $6500 for trade in and all the discounts and dals he worked out with them, he waked away paying $23000 for a brand new f150 WITH a bedliner and a ton of other options. I am not necessarily saying I expect that kind of deal but righ tnow for me to get a new truck, it's got to be pretty spectacular. I am not spending $50K on a truck ha ha. (In case no one could figure it out, there is a ton of Ford dealerships in the DFW are and they are all pretty big and aggressive when going after business) I just wanted to be as up front and give you as much info as possible so no one's time is wasted.

Just tried sending you a PM and it says your box is full...

Here is the low down. I am flying into town on the 27th, have some business meetings on the 28th, then driving the equinox I have up there in storage down to DFW...unless...someone on here can get me an supercalifragilisticexpealidocious hookup on a 2011 F150 Ecoboost. Prefer crew cab but would entertain extended cab. I know its a long shot but if there is some possibility, I would be willing to trade in the equinox if offered enough to make it worth it in my mind and just drive a new f150 back to Fort Worth. It's that or I will just sell outright down here or trade in once I get it back here. Anyway, just thought I would toss it out there. If nothing comes of this post that's fine, just and idea I thought of. -Ryan P.S. Mods, can someone change the thread title to say: "Anybody here a salesman at a local Ford dealership?" Sorry for the screw up on that.

Man, forget DFW traffic. Traffic, construction, and retard drivers. This is why I go to work and home. I despise driving here.

+1...she looks old. -
I am really happy for my wife, she wanted a boy as our first. I couldn't care less what it is, I would be just as stoked about a girl. Definitely an exciting and a tad overwhelming time in our life. But in a great way.

Whatever dude! This is a little dsmer in the making. Once he can walk he is going to learn how to grab me wrenches and ish ha ha.

Well, wife had her sonogram on Friday. We are having a boy. Introducing, Judah Todd Corlew. Due date is Jan 18th. I know I know, I miss the tax deduction, but I am still totally stoked. Doc said there is no question that its a boy, and from the pic, I am pretty sure it's obvious. http://i.pbase.com/o6/63/13063/1/138507255.jbaJrtWS.yeeatbza.jpg http://i.pbase.com/o6/63/13063/1/138507254.BKCKnhXR.t52zmv0d.jpg Tim, thanks for the privacy edit, I appreciate it

When I lived back in Columbus, Hendoc's on High, then walk next door to Shi Sha Hookah lounge and eat shwarma and smoke Hookah...then walk down to Houndogs for some pizza at 4am...Good times.

+1 I actually like npr.

Yup. Don Jordan. Guy has owned more dsms than anybody I have ever met. Really knows his stuff. Great friend. Helped me out on a lot of stuff, not limited to cars either.
-
I am trying but like I said, took me 10 years to get where I was before. Not saying it can't be done, just saying it sucks when it disappears and you have to start all over again.
-
By "bud" I am assuming you mean "budweiser."

OK, so I just want to say this; don't take the people that help you out, both on and off CR for granted. I lived in Columbus for 10 years before moving here to TX. Over that 10 years, I made some really good friends pretty much by accident, and some others through Columbus Racing. Over those 10 years, and through the people I met, I, like many others on here, had a "support network" so to speak. I need tires, alignment, etc, I hit up Derek @ NTB. I need parts for my Talon, I hit up Dave/Leigh at O' Reilly and get the hookup on parts. I need to learn tricks on working on my DSM, I hit up this old guy I met randomly 8 years ago, Don, by knocking on his door as a new DSM owner and having seen a DSM in his front yard and see if he has parts for sale. That was 8 years ago and him, his family, and I are now very close. My point is, whatever I needed, I knew who to hit up, and help was there. Now that I live in TX, I have no support network. No one at NTB to help me out, no one at O Reilly's to hook me up on parts, nope, full retail on all that ish. I know I know, negotiate between shops. That works if you need a full set of tires and an alignment, but like in my situation right now where I only need one tire and an alignment, and some other tires I own mounted on some tims, I have no clout so I am going to have to pay retail. I go to autozon or O Reilly's, nobody recognizes me, knows my name, etc. Now, not that paying retail is necessarily a bad thing, and I am not trying to sound like a cheapskate, but just saying, those people that help you out and hook you up, make sure to thank them and when you do, do it with sincerity because it sucks when you no longer have that availabale to you. I also got a lot of my business dog training from CR members. I appreciate the business, and some were repeat customers. I sincerely appreciate it. Hopefully I was able to give you what you needed and you certainly were able to help me not just financially, but also to futher my education and understanding of dogs, since they are all different. I personally have never knowingly taken anyones help or kindness for granted. I have always appreciated the help CR members and other's have given me over the years, and tried my best to make sure they know I am sincere when I say "thank you." But no longer having that, it puts into a greater scope how much it sucks when that kind of support is no longer available. Just wanted to put that out there. The next time someone hooks you up or helps you out, make sure to sincerely thank them, because it would suck if they weren't available to help you out.
