I understand both points of view. I have always wanted to do a ride along, but I will most likely never get than chance as I don't think I am willing to forfeit my right to defend myself. Some may think that is stupid since you are with an LEO but as we have all seen, LEO's are far from immortal and I don't want to be caught in a situation that goes wrong and have no means to defend myself. Glad the OP was able to experience this and have a good/educational experience.

See that sucks. If I am riding with a cop and something goes down I think I should have a means to defend myself just as I do when I am not riding along with a cop.

I have for sale a '90 JDM Motor. It came in a car I bought off a friend who bought it directly from the importer. He didn't put more than 50 miles on the thing and I put less than 2000 miles on it so its low mileage. It comes with the IM, 13g turbo, 390cc injectors, balace shafts removed and all belts less than 2,000 miles. Drop this motor in and go. I am not sure if he knows how to change the filter or not but if he doesn't his two sons to appliance repair for a living so it wouldn't be hard for him to get it replaced if he didn't know how to do it himself.
