OK ok, I voted fore "none of the above." Does that count?
-
Ok to put it another way then...I voted...I voted for no one. Does that make everyone feel better? Or do I need to actually write down on a ballot "I choose none of these douchebags"?
-
Really...can you show me which law states that is a right I do not have? I believe that is an opinion of yours...not a fact.

Look at what Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln said about banks and look at our current banking/monetary system. Obviously we kind of went off course from what they actually did say so who cares what these guys a few hundred years ago "may" say when we don't really care about what they actually did say? "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. " -TJ "The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace, and conspire against it in times of adversity. The banking powers are more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. They denounce as public enemies, all who question their methods or throw light upon their crimes.” -AL

I think in the end it doesn't matter because they are dead and the point is I live in a country where if my options are douchebag 1 and douchebag 2 I can choose to say they are both peices of crap and I'm not going to vote for any of them. Some peoples response to that is write someone in or vote for joe schmo and my response to that is, it is completely pointless to vote for someone who has no chance of winning because...THEY WON'T WIN. Therefore, that would be a waste of my time and effort I could better spend doing something I feel is less of a waste of time and effort. If people want to vote and it makes them feel better about themselves, go right ahead. I just don't understand why the same people feel the need to chastise me, who feels fine sitting back and enjoying the ride.

i'm not limp wristing it if that's what you mean. Sometime when I put a fresh mag in and pull the slide back and release it to load one in the chamber it will jam the 1st round I am trying to load.
-
I do need to put more rounds through it though. I put 200 through and had at least 1 jam EVERY clip. Probably try to put another 200-300 through it this weekend. I cant be having jams if it's going to be my primary.

Fortunately I live in a country where my forefathers died so I could have the right to choose not to vote instead of having an M4 at my head telling me I have to.
-
That's right everyobody! Go out and and really make a difference!
-
I'll pass. I will exercise my right to choose not to vote. They are all douche's and/or turd sandwiches.

Thanks everyone for the advice on the WC mags...picked up two...far superior to the kimber mags. Cinergi, thanks for taking the time to explain things in detail about the 1911.

Mods can lock this up. I know what car I am getting.
-
OK OK you talked me into it. $153.37...
-
My $150 offer still stands.

My understanding is the FBI used to carry 10mm but it was too much for a lot of their agents to handle so they now carry the Glock 23...which is what I have carried for the last year...just what I heard though, I have no source to reference at this time.
-
+1. People get hit with .45's and dropped with 9mm's and vice versa. shot placement is key. I carry .40 and .45 but 9mm is nothing to scoff at either.

Here is a pic of him recently in a wheelchair and him with his son so you guys and gals can put a face with who I have been talking about over the last 6 months. http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/Family/matthew.jpg http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a461/RyanCorlew/Family/MatthewKiernan101710.jpg

I have 2 brothers, a best friend, a brother in law, and another buddy that have all done tours over there and returned alive...for that I am extrememly grateful. My heart goes out to all the families of all soldiers. A guy I work with has a brother that just deployed to afghanistan about a month ago. We works with bomb sniffing dog. For whatever reason they were out without the dog last week and he watched his buddy step on a mine...the guy lost his life. Bad stuff. War is a horrible thing. They need to have the entire middleast flooded with bomb sniffing dogs. You can train almost any dog scent detection. You want to giv epeople jobs and stimulate the ecomony, contract out more dog trainers and all those dogs getting euthanized in the pound, obedience train them and teach them scent detection and put them to use over there...keep crap like this from happening.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Matthew's: My Parents and little sisters moved to the Dallas/FT worth Area as my dad took a job there and my brother transferred to the Army Hospital in San Antonio as they are better equiped to handle him as he is now. All major surgeries and such are done with, he is now focused on the skin/muscle grafts healing as well as rehabilitaion such as moving legs and learning how to walk again. My brother has a VERY high tolerance for pain medication and when he arrived in San Antonio he woke up with pain at a level 10 on a scale from 1-10. It took them 45 minutes and enough pain medication to knock an elephant out to bring his pain level down to a level he could handle. The Doctors put 3 times the amount of pain meds in him they had ever put anyone in at that location and the Doctors later concluded he was top 5 in the country for highest amount of pain medication ever received at once. This past Monday they put him in an induced coma for 2 days to do an expiramental method of detoxing his body before organs and brain start to fry and to reset his pain receptors. When he came out of the coma yesterday he woke up fast than they expected and his lungs had started to fill with fluid. They got that under control but he is still at about a level 7 of pain and they can't give him anywhere near the amount of medication he was on so this is a pretty difficult time for him right now. Just want to say thanks again on behalf of my brother, my family, and myself for the outpouring of prayers. That is what he needed and continues to need. Sincerely, Ryan Corlew

You going to get Maranda and AR too?

Thanks for the advice. hopefully I can get some wilson mags this weekend at vances. I will just return the spare kimber one I bought towards a wilson. Why Cleanzoil? What do you think about Hoppes No. 9? That's all I have used on all of my guns and never had any issues with it. Also, the instructions say to disassemble and clean before I shoot it for the first time. Are you saying not to do this, but put 200 rounds through it and THEN clean it?
-
I do not believe so. Only 5in on the flyer.
-
what's wrong with the mags it comes with?
-
Sooo...I just bought a Kimber Custom Carry II last night at vances...$679.99 until tomorrow... Not a bad buy in my opinion...
-
On Sale at Vances...$679.99. I think Kimbers are overpriced and in general there are better options for the kind of money you will usually spend on a Kimber but on sale it was only $100 more than the Para I was looking at and I believe Kimber is a superior company to Para...
