  3. It was her insurance company that paid up. I had actually had an independent appraisal by Dan "Boots". Right now Tim just does it on the side but hopes to grow. I am extremely pleased with the level of customer service I received.
  4. I spent 3 weeks myself and was unable to get past the $3,000 offer. I don't know the system well enough to know how to take it further so that's why I found it to be a sound investment to hire someone in the field.
  5. Hard work is right ha ha. Patience and persistence paid off..well somewhat I guess. A year of actual labor down the drain but Tim was able to far exceed my expectations when it came to what I thought we would get offered.
  6. OK, as many of you know, I was in a car accident on the night of 9/10/2010 in which a lady ran a red light and t-boned my car, totaling it. Their initial offer on the car was $2751. I said, “no way. The car is worth far more than that and I cannot replace this particular car for even close to that.” Even though I submitted an almost exact comparable (same year, color, options, mileage), they refused to recognize it as it was on e-bay. So I continued to have conversations with them, submitting $4k in receipts for the car as well as arguing stock to stock value. After 3 weeks I was able to get an offer up to $3000 with a salvage value of $193.62. Still not good enough for me. From there I heard of a public adjuster named Timothy Lovette. Tim works as an adjuster for an insurance company but also on the side works as a public adjuster on total loss cases such as mine to get people more money. This case was much harder than he thought it would be as the at fault insurance company was fighting back tooth and nail. Finally, after 3 weeks of him working on this, he was able to get the property damage settlement offer up to $4533.67! So by me investing $250 in his services, and being patient, he was able to get me $1533.67 more than I was able to get for myself due to his experience in the field. I am EXTREMELY pleased with my experience working with Mr. Lovette and would recommend him to anyone dealing with a total loss situation who feels they are getting taken advantage of on the value of their vehicle. Tim’s contact info is: Timothy Lovette 740-505-3175 TimRLovett@gmail.com
  7. Didn't figure you could. just throwing it out there man. Congrats with the sale.
  8. hold on for the ride...it's going to be a fun one...I am still dealing with just the property damage side of my claim over a month later, not to mention all the other aspects of the claim. insurance companies suck.
  9. You want a handgun you can conceal and carry as well as home defense or just home defense? Home defense only...Glock 21 .45...home defense and conceal...Glock 23 .40cal.
  10. I have family and friends that are military...I like my $425 out the door glocks with 3 mags...
  11. Interesting choice in dog. Good looking though. I like what I read about them a well. Well, if you can't get a buyer and decide you are willing to take $150 without them therrr fancy dancy grips, let me know.
  12. $150 and you keep the fancy grips? What kind of dog?

  14. I will try to remember to get pics tonight after I get home from the chiropractor. I would prefer to keep it all together as I don't want to beast those bolts off but it won't knock that much off the price. I will get you pics and if you are interested you can make me an offer for the turbo alone. PM me you re-mail address.
  15. Below is what I will have for sale once this situation with the insurance company is settled and I can start taking the car apart (which should be within the next week or two). BR 20G w/ o2 sensor housing, 2G EM probed for EGT and with some kind of high temp coating, HKS external wastegate with dump tube. $550 I bought the turbo off a friend who said it had about 5,000 miles on it. I literally had it on the week of the shootout and and probably put less that 400 miles on the turbo since august. Very slight shaft play but I have not seen any smoking and hits full boost (15psi) at 3600 RPMS per my data logs. I think the wastegate may be bad (I had boost creep) Also, the dump tube has a very very small hole in it that could use a tack weld but I had no issues with it. Also, I have a strong 14B with 1G o2 sensor housing, o2 sensor, and 2G exhaust manifold. $150. Very minimal shaft play, no smoking when I last took it off. Not sure how many miles are on it but I had no issues with it whatsoever. Turbos will not come with oil or water lines. I will get pics for those interested upon request. Thanks for looking. -Ryan
  16. That's how it is with most things. Advertising. Budweiser and Harley Davidson aren't the best in their fields but they have marketing/advertising power.
  17. NPR did a story on why a lot of rebels/guerillas like Toyota pickup's...it was a good story.

it's a 1Gb, not 1Ga. I am only interested in stock or mostly stock 1Ga's. Thanks for looking for me though, I do appreciate it.
