  1. Exactly. The cost of legal fees in most cases outweighs the potential return. Foolish move to follow through IMO.
  2. That's my point. If they were going to do it, they wouldn't have sent me a letter a month for like 4mo making threats. They would have just done it. So I called their bluff.
  3. I don't have extensive experience, but I received a threat from a lawfirm on behalf of an Ins Co saying something along the lines of if I didn't do what they wanted me to do they may be forced to utilize other means through the legal system to get what they wanted from me. I knew they had no case. A few more letters came. I ignored. Sure enough, I never heard from them again. Unless I am being served/notified that I am actually being sued...i'm ignoring.
  4. She will usually only connect once out of every 15-20 attempts. Bunnies are VERY smart and agile and know how to evade. I have seen some very impressive jukes. In those cases I am happy for the bunny. I will agree though, she is probably a little more efficient at catching them than a dog. She is up to #24 as of this past Saturday. But man, we worked half a day to make that finally happen.
  5. The Last Jedi sucked big fat donkey bawlz. And that's coming from a big star wars fan.
  6. Yeah, she is getting pretty good. She is at 23 rabbits, 12 rats, and a few birds this season. I am hoping to get her on jackrabbits on the 6th or 7th if the weather permits and we are able to jump some. That thing i'm carrying is called a "t-perch." Everyone I know that has one has built their own. Some people make theirs with just PVC pipe; most people though, including myself, use a paint roller extender, and then make just the perch part with PVC that screws onto the end, and cover the PVC with pipe insulation, and then daisy mat or astroturf. If gives the bird a much better vantage point in a field over being on the glove. It's like a mobile tree. That being said, if there are trees available, she will occasionally perch in one of those if it offers a better field of view and I will work the field towards her hoping to flush game in her direction.

    Tax Reform

I wish I could pay my mortgage with a credit card. I want the points. lulz
  8. Some of the old school guys on there actually helped me get my high compression motor figured out. So to answer your question, yes. There are a select few I take seriously.
  9. interesting retort on dsmtuners. "The valve itself moves so much, doing a valve job with a torque plate won't fix the sealing issues."

    Tax Reform

Tell me, how does a government keep someone from keeping their legs closed or their d*ck in their pants? I must be superhuman, because it worked for me and my wife. Ohh wait, heaven forbid people actually being responsible and making responsible choices.
  11. Interesting read. Thanks for posting.
  12. This. People always put science and religion at odds. I have never seen them as opposing forces.
  13. Lulz. I've kicked around the idea of doing a compound, but doing it differently than most with the bigger turbo seeing the exhaust gas first. I really don't understand the point of running a twin setup on a 4 banger. That being said, a small dry shot its easier/cheaper to get quicker spool.

    Net Neutrality

I was trying to get an understanding of NN and different perspectives. Here is wht my buddy had to say about it: " Me: thoughts on net neutrality? Eric: It’s ded, unfortunately Maybe it will be okay for people like I assume is who can actually afford better internet, I just don’t want to go back to the days of cable where your websites are grouped into packages Me: The argument I keep hearing against the repeal is that providers can choose to load some content more slowly than others. but if that were the case, wouldn't the free market keep that in check? i.e. would it really behoove a provider to do that? I would think it would just cause consumers to find a provider who fifn't "didn't Eric: ISPs are natural monopolies, most people don’t have the option to switch Otherwise yes that would be the case Me: ahhh Eric Jones: Here was my issue back in 2014 when they made the net neutrality rules. Let’s say I want to watch Netflix. I pay my isp to connect to Netflix’s servers. Netflix pay thier isp to have servers available. Let’s say that Netflix has 10 ports available for traffic, but Comcast only connects to 5 of them, but has enough traffic that it should be using all 10 available. Who pays for the extra 5 ports? Comcast says Netflix, so Netflix eats the cost. If NN is killed, we will pay that price. The issue is I ALREADY PAYED Comcast for that connection So they will get to double dip under the guise of ‘fast lanes’ when in fact they are just establishing the connections we already pay for but they are too cheap to upgrade. Me: hmmm but again, wouldn't consumers help regulate that by choosing a different provider? like, fk you spectrum, i'm going to frontier? Eric Jones: That works in markets where that is an option When I lived in Florida it was Comcast or nothing Thankfully here I do have a choice of WoW or spectrum, but if they both decided to act shitty what is my option then? Remember the cable companies already split up the physical wires into territories where they specifically don’t compete And they pay money to lobby against municipal fiber so that they are the only game in town Also with the Netflix example that isn’t an issue people would even see. They would just see that thier Netflix sucks and assume the issue is on the Netflix side because of the saturated ports on the Comcast side for Netflix connections to other services might be okay so it would be reasonable to assume the fault is with Netflix not the isp Me: ahhhh, that makes sense so I would think municipal hardware would make sense... Eric Jones: That would be what I would want, but then it needs to be regulated like a utility So we are back to title 2 We already payed these companies for fiber internet in the 90’s and they never really made good on that 😔 It’s hard to blame capitalists for capitalizing, but yea. We really got the short end of the stick on that one. Not enough strings attached to the monies"

    Net Neutrality

I'm with this. In the places that have one ISP option, like where my buddy lived in FL, you are screwed. I am usually all about the government getting out of my life as much as possible, but this stuff I feel really needs regulated.
  16. This may be it. I have seen a pif of it on the car, but it was a looooong time ago. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=854&pictureid=8956
  17. I can't find a pic of the one I saw years ago, but it was an atrocity to look at.
  18. I get these multiple times a day every day from 614 #'s, and blocking the #'s don't do any good because they just call from another 614 #. So I've started to answer them and be a complete d bag. They usually hang up quickly. This morning's first was short and sweet: Me: "Hello." *pause* D-bag: "Hello. May I please speak to Mr. Ryan Corlew." Me: "Proper phone etiquette dictates that you introduce yourself before asking for someone and making demands. That being said, who am I speaking with?" *pause* *nervous laugh* D-Bag: "Well Sir, that's not how I do it, but you are right...(inaudible). Then hangs up.
  19. I've seen pics of a janky TT put together. Not sure what gains one would see. Compound is a better idea. Been done, and done well a few times. Then there is twin charging. Ray Peters did it. It's freaking awesome, BUT, make a ton of torque. Ray said something to the tune of 500ftlbs by 3000rpm which led to all kinds of issues to figure out regarding input shafts as he went through several. This was with a GT35r and an eaton m62.
