I didn't want to be in it but i couldn't get the angle right with the lighting where you could see the detail of the bird while using selfie mode and keeping me put of it. She was fresh off the trap so I had to get it quick before she bated off the glove again.

Drove 6hrs to S Texas yesterday, spent 20min trapping and got exactly what I was hoping to get. Talk about an awesome day yesterday. None of us could believe we trapped a passage (immature) bird so quickly, let alone a female passage. 790g which is on the big end of a S Texas, Harris' Hawk. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=854&pictureid=8885
  3. What sharpening angle do you put on your blades?
  4. I'm a sucker for blues and purples.
  5. I've caught bluegill on just a shiny hook, ha ha.
  6. I love that shade of blue.
  7. 20" Cutthroat I caught on the snake river. Caught on a stonefly. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=854&pictureid=8881

    Dunkirk

The lack of gore was really a non-issue for me. I found the movie able to effectively convey the horrors of war even without the gore. Normally I'd say without the gore the, it's hard to drive home the point, but I didn't feel that way at all. I left that movie Happy, Sad, Humbled, and Amazed.

That was another awesome one imo.
  10. And this is why I don't allow my kids to ride fair/carnival rides. F. THAT.

I left with a stress headache. Never had that happen from a movie before.

Saw it this afternoon with the wife. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster I wasn't expecting. Really helps drive home how horrible war is.
  13. Dude, that kid at 1:44 had me dying. Also when that kid threw that bass back into the pond...:lolguy:
  14. Some of those old dudes get soooo pissed.
  15. Error occurred on that vid, but if it's that kid with the white one always taking people's money, I know who you are talking abut and those vids are hilarious.
  16. Those guys know their ish. They do some pretty awesome stuff with DSM's as well.
  17. Damn, taken out by a cold.
  18. It was my understanding the SRT-4's were relatively inexpensive. Weren't they low to mid 20's? And put like 250whp down from the factory, with plenty of room to grow (there are a few around here that will humble you on the streets). I guess I never really thought $23k for a boosted 2.4 4 cyl was bad. Had they come AWD for a little more I would have considered picking one up back in the day.
  19. I found this to be fascinating. I have heard some of his ideas confirmed by some educators in various interviews as well.
  20. I do apologize for not wording it n a way that better conveyed what I was trying to say. It seems to have portrayed a message I was not trying to deliver. My statement was pertaining to all of the intelligent kids I knew growing up who were never recognized as such by the schools and were deemed as having fictitious disorders and pumped full of meds and turned into zombies, the testimonies of parents who have confirmed as much, the educational researchers I have listened to, as well as pediatricians that play along (thank God some don't), and the parents who rely on the schools to instill moral values, social values, etc. I am sincerely glad your daughter's experiences were different than that as I can't imagine the effort it took both on behalf of her parents and the teachers that understood and accommodated her needs.
