IIRC 99-03=same PCM 98 same style PCM, different OS. I don't remember the security details. Some let you drive it 10minutes, some crank, some do nothing. I just can't recal the 98 security settings (02 Monte will let you drive it 10minutes at a time after each code clear). There still could be a security issue preventing starting however if the starter "clicks" it will let you crank it regardless. Buck-He def needs help on the tune side!

Yeah. I didnt read the entire thing since i was on my phone Ive done over 40 of these swaps and just threw out the top things people miss. I did have 1 voltage issue in all the swaps, even tho everything tested fine (bat, alt, wiring). The final verdict was the battery just couldnt crank the 3800. Try jumping it to see if it fires, not a battery charger!

turn the security off? enter 255 on the BCM/PCM controls. Make sure the trans is in park also. Sometimes the linkage ends up a few clicks off during a swap. Also find someone with a powertuner, i sold my PT a few months ago.

I remember that. I should of bought it then. Looks like tuning is going to be a potential issue...no 2.5 OS for 07 TBSS's... Working with HPT/PCM to see what they can do.

motor is back in. and just waiting for parts: -injectors received saturday -tuning being worked (working towards a speed density tune) -charger setup scheduled to here by Friday -fuel pump delivered today (but have a FULL tank of fuel ) -vacuum block should be here tomorrow -gauges wired into POD, still need to instal the pillar and wire up the gauges. -front of motor needs buttoned up -BAP needs wired up not to bad I think. Its gettin there.

How long does the battery last? I have an employee in need of a descent laptop and other than the ram, this looks like it might work.

I dont know if this helps much, but I have a set of 5k mile FIC flow matched 42s. These are LS2 based car injectors if that helps. They have the EV6 plug so you would most likely need adapters. These do have a considerably better spray pattern than what your looking for. Asking $200 for them. LMK-Jeremiah

Alright...now its fixed. Took forever to find the right size, but 10 different size plugs later it gots one that fit perfect. Now its time to start putting it all back together. Everything is ordered and on it way....including the baseline tuning.

Possibly something was pinched in the front of the seal (leaf, spinner, etc). The water gathers in the front corners by design so if there was crap in there it would leak.
