Very true, no 2.3 engines came with the Syncro. I had the same problem with a ranger at my shop, but I figured that it was due to bad wiring (a short).

Oh, how a reckless op will ruin any chance of you getting insurance for a reasonable amount of money. I got one for doing 95 in a 55 and three years later I have to drive with my dealer plates to be driving legal.
They actually do work, I did some reading a few months ago where they were being used on some kind of big diesel engines. Other than the price, I don't see why people shouldn't start slapping them in their cars in the upcoming months/years.
