I imagine places like co-part (friend just got a job there actually) that specialize in salvage vehicles will make a killing off it. I would be completely shocked if insurance companies and places like co-part didn't have some sort of exclusive partnership.

Long story short, AEP read the meter wrong and was attempting to charge us $220 for an apartment we no longer live in. We were there for the first 15 days of the billing cycle, then moved out. (keep in mind this was a tiny 650 sq ft single bedroom flat.) I made absolute certain that all lights/AC were off and the fridge/freezer turned down.They refused to send someone out and made us do it for them.
