On Monday July 19th the Radio Station WMVL 101.7 FM, http://www.cool1017online.com is going to be spot lighting the RENEGADE RACING ASSOCIATION during its 'RACING TALK' talk radio program from 6 to 8pm. About halfway thru the show we'll be hitting the airwaves talking up the SPONSORS, the RACERS and the RACING ACTION. One of the co-hosts, Tom Lang saw our last show and really liked the format, the cars, and the crowds appeal for the series and he wanted to help promote the series on his show.   5. THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO CAME TO SUPPORT TODAY'S RACE, we had a full field of 16 racing (20 cars entered) and it boiled down to a classic FORD versus Chevy barnburner. Al Matuska's "Blaze" 1965 Chevelle defeated Gary Moore's 1965 Mustang with a 8.91 to a losing 8.92. With his win Al also collected Ultratech Racecars "bounty" on the number one qualifier, a tire coupon from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, not to mention the really sweet RENEGADE RACING ASSOCIATION TROPHY!! Semi - Finalist were Don Turner "Mr. Z" and Ralph Lukas "Blumaro" Ultratech Racecars Number one qualifier was Ralph Lukas' "Blumaro" 1971 Nova with a 8.9917 (number two qualifier ran a 8.9921) TI Dyno's Sweet Sixteen qualifier was Paul Nadeau, he will receive 2 hours of "FREE" Dyno Time. Skippy Did It Racecars provided a goody bag for all 16 qualified cars, new racers received a gallon of hand cleaner. He also provided photos of all the racers that participated in the previous event. Full Moon Racing provided RENEGADE RACING ASSOCIATION T-shirts for all racers entered in todays event.

  14. I know this may be a bit of a drive for some but it will be a good show to attend if you want to see or race in a heads-up style arena. We have had a really good response from several racers wanting to attend. We recently met with Jim Curtis of Thompson Raceway Park to discuss adding an '8.90 heads-up index class' to run at the track and the meeting went extremely well to say the least. We will be having a 'test session' in early May and if we have a good showing Jim Curtis will be adding the 8.90 class to run on all of Thompson Raceway's ASPHALT WARS dates!!! (final dates to be announced) Below are the rules that we presented Jim Curtis for this class. 8.90 OUTLAW STREET GAMBLERS (name suggestion) RULES BODY/INTERIOR 1.   17. Good luck on getting it back together! Getting an engine blanket on it should be on the "to do list" as well, as quick as your car is it's cheap insurance.

  21. Great project and good for you trying to be a better Dad. My 4 year old has been helping me since he was 2 and he loves it, he finds great appreciation in helping and at the end of the day we put away the tools and he gets me a beer without me asking.
