Muratic -sp acid, scrub and then rinse and repeat if this is a concrete drive. Masonry restoration people use this with really good results, good for bricks too.
Superclean, scrub and then rinse and repeat if this is a asphalt drive.
Detonation could have put a hurt on the headgasket, are you losing any coolant other than thru leaks? Did you pull all 8 plugs and did they all look the one you have pictured?
Check your timing with another timing light. Whats the timing chain like, is it old or new?
Have you checked your rotor phasing in your distributor? Whats inside the cap look like, any oil?
Pulled a valve cover for loose rocker or broken spring?
Flipper's drag radial car, single turbo blow-thru set-up has been in the low 7's at 199mph, no intercooler on gas. 4th gen camaro at over 3400lbs..
Lutz also ran a blow-thru C&S carb when he switched over from nitrous, Filipowski did thee headers/hat/coldside piping on it. Pretty sure he dipped into the 6's with it as well
Remember, this is a street driven truck and not some race-only deal so if a couple of horsepower is left on the table who cares? The guy wants to drive it and enjoy it, so thats how it was built. It shouldn't embarrass itself that bad even if it doesn't run up to its potential.
Your engine doesn't know any difference.
I did some SUPERSTOCK pulling tractor stuff a few years ago and there really is no great way and no need to make equall legnth pipes, these tractors are all in the 75psi and higher boost levels with 2 and 3 turbos.
So your saying it won't run properly?
I did this set-up as well, it seems to be running fine.

The intake piping in the 3rd picture is pretty much the way its going to be other than adding the BOV.
One large TIAL bov is being used, centered before the hat. Owner wanted to hear the truck run and drive it a little prior to him leaving the area for a business trip. (made 14psi of boost)
I do my own powdercoating, so coating is not an issue
Here are some engine pictures of a 1991 S-10 I did and then re-did this winter. Owner originally wanted a single turbo then switched gears then wanted a twin-turbo. There are a few things to revise (radiator hose, powdercoat coldside intake and tune) but it started and ran under its own power this weekend.
Quick Specs:
406" chevy
GMPP "Fastburn" 210cc heads

315 mt drag radials
Street truck, hoping it runs 13.0's or better...lol

Big fat gnarly roller spec'd by Craft (I can get exact numbers when I go back to the garage)

I'll see if I can find a floppy drive and maybe a picture of it.
Pm me for more details, we're messing up this thread.
Yeah, look how crappy your exhaust ports are compared to the 1993 casting and get back with me. Intake port doesn't do crap without a good exhaust port and the earlier castings are lame in the exhaust ports.
No intake? it must have been magic Keith Craft used to make it work??????? What does he know...victor 460
What do you want to know about the 466"? It then turned into a 514" then the fuelly heads got to small for it and it finally got a set of 'Thunders with chevy exhaust ports and I sold it.
these are D3VE's on this one. The heads on mine are DOOE-R
so your weapon of choice is the shitest head casting out of all of them?
So explain to me why they are so bad again? I was going 10.20's NA with a pump gas 466" with them in a full weight mustang in the mid 1990's, they must have been junk!? I guess when Keith Craft recommended a set to me he didn't know what he was doing. lol
Its just hanging from the bracket, its a 1-wire alternator I'm using. It now has an electric wp on it and the alternator has an adjustable tensioner I made for it. I need to keep the power steering.
