Bloomberg here about 7 years ago. For the readers comments, it is degenerative so yes after about 5 years you will need to get that redone. Ran me about $3k. However for a small "fee" they will re do for free for life.

My Genie garage door opener decided to take a dump. When the head unit is plugged in it trips the GFI circuit immediately. I unhooked the pass through wall mounted plate, no change. I then plugged a chop saw in where the head unit was plugged in and cut up a 2X4 to test the circuit, no issue. So I am in need of someone who works on these, any recommends?

Got a friend who is in need of a car asap. I have, of my own money, $500.00. It is for a single mom with a kid. Her car was hit/skipped so she is down and out (state minimum insurance doh). Anything semi reliable in this price range? I would go higher but being spur of the moment it is all I have in cash. Just trying to help out a deserving person.
