  1. I bought a set that are made out of Stainless Steel for a LSGAWD Motor last night off Ebay. I got a damn good deal of $145 new including shipping. Here's a link to the actual product: http://www.prwonlinestore.com/stainlesssteelgmls1rollerrockerkit-0234611-1.aspx

Did I screw up? These are going on my 853 casting ls1 heads. I just needed something and I couldn't even find stockers for this price. My heads are going to Leingenfelter for clean up cnc soon hopefully. Oh I got a complete set of Escalade ignition coils w/ brackets for $125 and a complete 4L65E for $135 on Ebay also.

  2. Congrats man...The Air Force was 6 yrs of good times and I dont regret it at all. Before you know it you'll have two choices to make: 1. Stay in and retire or 2. Walk away with some killer undisputable training. What ever your choice they'll both be good ones. PM me if you have any questions...

P.S. DO NOT SHAVE YOUR HEAD BEFORE GOING TO BMT! nobody likes a smart ass, especially the T.I.'s

  3. Ive got a 1:18th 1997 SOM Formula that would look great in that collection...I thought I was bad with my collection of 80 or so 18th scale cars. I had box them up for the attic it was getting so bad so Id forget about them. Oh and I use Meguires Gold Class Wax for detailing after a good dusting. No Lie.
  4. Ohms is resistance. The lower the number, the less resistance there is on the circuit. A 2 ohm sub requires less power from the amp to run it than a 4 ohm sub

I thought this one through, and the only two questions I could come up with is:

Why isn't every sub/speaker rated at two ohms instead of 2/4/8?

And then my next question would be:

Does ohm's have anything to due with frequency responce i.e. lower bass vs. tremble?

  5. Scenario # 1 -I'm looking to replace the factory 8" sub in my wife's 2004 expedition. I see alot of references in regards to 2 ohm's and 4 ohm's. Can anyone explain the difference in regards to sound quality?

Scenario # 2 -The bass is volume sensitive, meaning if the volume is turned up past half the bass does not go any higher. I was wondering if this is controled by the factory head unit or the inline amplifier.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  6. State Farm here. We use them for all of our insurance needs and have done so for 12 yrs now. Of course they give discounts for multiple items i.e. home, vehicles and being over 25. I have a couple of speeding/reckless driving tickets as well. My deductible is 500 on everything and the monthly is cheap. Give them a call.
  7. if she wont go for a subie, talk to her into a mazda3, or a vibe...all 3 looks the same

She wants a Challenger, I want an CTS-V or STS-V(for the kiddies and all). One of us has to have our priorities straight!
