  1. I could possibly get you all kind of 64-70 GTO's, I can get you my 06 GTO and other new gen's if needed. Just let me know via PM.
  2. Sorry, was too busy last night. I'll get you some photo's. I'll keep in touch.
  3. I'll trade for my open trailer. PM me if interested, if so, I'll send you pictures.
  4. Riesers Auto Body out on the east side. You will probably talk with Marte, tell her John recommended you, the one with the GTO (there are 2 people with the same name).
  5. TooSweet had a good link. Here is another link to follow. This may sound stupid, but there are good books at the local library that I read and there are a lot of great ideas there. http://www.pinewoodpro.com/pinewood-derby-howto-speed.htm Thanks, Josh was very proud.
  6. Well to finalize this thread, my son took first in his den, 2nd overall which was pretty impressive due to all of the kids. He won best scout theme design as well. Things to remember for next year. Longer wheel base and how to master the (3) wheel contact. I didn't do the (3) wheel contact because I was affraid the car won't drive straight. I will master those two things next year. The kid who won over all (which Josh gave him some competition), was the kid who's dad spent all kid of money last year. Yes, he won again this year. His wheel base was longer and did the (3) wheel contact. Over all it was fun, I had a bunch of fathers come up to me and say that Josh knocked off a lot of good people this year. One father was pretty pissed at me, but oh well, sucks for him.
  7. My favorite college player right now is, Jake Butt! I would like to purchase his jersey and get his autograph. He's from Pickerington.
  8. I hear you, how can you build a team if the organization keeps firing the coach. I don't understand it?
  9. Is it the same if your license plate is on the dashboard? Glad to know this POS got his just due!
  10. CC Wheels are badass! Wish I had the money for them.
  11. Sorry about your circumstance and hope all goes well for you. Craig, nice to know you are at Lindsey, I purchased my TL from there and I always bring my car there for an oil change. It's a lot cheaper just to pay for it. I normally do it my self but as I stated, it's cheaper to have the dealer do it.
  12. I would prefer not to air my dirty laundry over the internet. As of right now, I'm looking to help myself so that I can try to work on this and not to give up. We have way too much at stake here to just throw it away. So I figured I would at least start with me. Thanks so far for everyone's support, things right now are a little difficult and I'm trying not to do the wrong thing here.
  13. Guys and or gals, I need some help. My marriage isn't the same, would anyone know of a counselor I can consult? I need to help myself before I can move forward. Thanks for the help.
  14. This one kids car cost over $1,000.00. That's were I lose respect. I do have some ideas and was thinking about buying one, but then that isn't what it's about, that's just me. I did see something about if you can balance the car 3/4 from the back of the car, then this is idea weight? I need to find a place that has scales so that I can get this down to the act weight.
  15. Thanks guys. There was someone last year that went all out, for example, he had carbon fiber bottom to it and the weight was 3/4 in the back and no one could touch him. I know his dad put a lot of money in this. I don't want to do that but I need to know how to place the weight. Last year I put a lug nut on the top of the car and it did pretty good, surprisingly. This year I would like to put the weight underneath but I'm sure there are place I can go that will have this special weight. The guy with the CF the car sat low and was only may an inch thick (tall). I like the pledge suggestion.
  16. Ok guys, I know there are some of you out there that get into this for your kids and I need some help on this. Just like the title says, I need help. Last year my son's car did pretty well, but I would like to take it to the next level if possible. If there is anyone out there that could help me in this Technical Pine Wood Darby building, would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Just a reminder, there will be tryouts this weekend if anyone's son is interested.
  18. Here is a flyer of an evaluation that is happening on November 16th. http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx65/pghsteelers86/WestervilleSluggers11-16-13_zps75746aff.jpg
  19. My name is John Hoffman and I just became a travel baseball coach for kids the age of 9-10. The reason I'm posting the thread is I'm working on getting a tryout for this league for this age group. Now if your kid is younger that 9 that's ok, my son is 8 and was evaluated at Big League Baseball School located in Worthington. I'm putting a team together in Westerville, and would like to get a tryout going November 16th, a place and time has not be set yet. I will come back to this thread and annouce a place a time. Right now I have one assistance coach and looking for more, if you think your kid would like to play travel baseball without the travel, then this is for you. This league will play other teams throughout Columbus and play all games at OSU and even some games under the lights.
  20. Man I'm jealous, that is awesome!
  21. Trying to sell something for my father in-law: 17x9.5 Chrome rims off of an 1989 Corvette with Yokohama S-Drive 275/40 R17 98W tires. Less than 200 miles on tires and rims. The wheels and tires are from OE Wheel Distributors. The Yokohama S-Drive tires are Ultra High Performance tires for sport cars and performance sedans. These rims and tires are from a 1989 Corvette, they were on the car for two show and the Vette was sold. Asking $1.200.00 OBO. http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx65/pghsteelers86/Misc/IMG_2375_zps2bc1d12f.jpg http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx65/pghsteelers86/Misc/IMG_2374_zpsf23582c6.jpg
  22. Here are some pictures of the show down in Kentucy. For all who didn't go, you missed a great atmosphere! This covers about 1/4 of the show. http://s742.photobucket.com/user/pghsteelers86/slideshow/2013%20Somerset%20Cruise
  23. I go to the one out on the east side of New Albany Reynoldsburg road. He has done nothing but excellent work for me. If I had to be picky, it would be his communication. Other than that, awesome work. Morty answers the phones and Steve runs the place.
