My wife's Chevy Tahoe came with a security system (I'm assuming that came from the factory) that works off of her factory key fob and at times her car won't start or she can't even use the key fob. When she goes to unlock the door with the key, the security systems turns on, but the car won't start. I can jump start the car. I took the car to Advanced Auto and the battery is good, the alternator is good and the starter is good. So, is there anyone out there that may know what's going on and can help. Yes, the warranty is out.

Great suggestions and sorry, she is looking for a brand new Sorento. Not sure which trim model. I have no idea about this vehicle so I thought I would come here to see. Once again thanks for the information.

There are several places. Here is my list. 1) Proxses Tuning (located in Dayton), Name: Mike Pirnia (937) 985-2334 2)Brady at Pick up Plus Cars there on Route 23. They only thing with that is the price for tuning. 3) Then there is IPS.

Absolutely, I gotta give it to my son. I thought we were going to have to leave early, but he was a trooper. He really like checking out the cars in the pits. Glad to know your son had fun as well. Not sure if I seen you?

It was probably clogged up by the winshield near the motor compartment. I got the compressor out and blew the line out and the drain lines sounded just fine.

Ok, here is an update. It's been about 4 weeks, so I decided to take the battery terminals off, let it sit for 2 minutes and reconnected the terminals. Now everything works.

Well went to a local car dealer today to see about getting this in motion. And of course I got the, "here is your insult"! Then the guy brings his sales manager over and that's when I walked away.

I'm really starting to like them, but I need to stay with a four door. If I wanted a two door, I would be all over the Camero, cause its GM. If I had a lot of money, I would be looking at the CTS-V.

I would love to get the SRT8, but can't afford it. I would have to sell the 1979 Firebird Formula to do that. Which I won't mind doing.

Please give me your opinion? I have always purchased GM cars, Pontiac's to be specific but since they are out if business I need to think outside the box. The Dodge Charger has been calling my name but I'm not sure. The other car I have been thinking about is the Buick Regal Turbo, but I believe it's only a 4 cylinder car and I would prefer an 8 cylinder. Let me know what you think.

The drain pipes were clean. The second day after, I thought I would clean out the drain lines, but they were clean as a whistle. I'm not sure why this happened and it only happened on those two days. It never once did it before and hasn't happend after. After the first night, I made sure the sun roof was completely closed and it still happened. Like stated before, it hasn't happened again. I will disconnect the battery tonight to see if that does anything and if anything, I'll go over the fuses again.

I have an 08 Caddy CTS. Ok last week when we had rain for two nights. I came out to my car the first day and there was standing water in the driver's side floor board (since my car is parted on a slight incline) and all over the top dash board, the seats in the front. The second day, water is every where and I mean every where in the front. Now my stereo, my navigation, and my heater/air conditioner is not working (the items are located in the center portion of the dash). So late last week, I checked all of my fuses and didn't find any that were bad (that I know of). The only thing I have not tried was disconnect the battery to see if that will work. Any advise will help.

We think a rock got up into the bell housing? I asked the tuner to take the tranny off to see if the motor would make the same noise. When he took the tranny off, the noise went away. However, he put the tranny back on and it made the same noise again. He pulled it out of the shop and backed in back in the noise went away. Still kind of baffled on this noise. I was relieved the motor didn't have a spun bearing, I didn't sleep for about 4 days on this. I post the final results of my build later on.

Ok, thanks everyone for their help. Since my Goat doesn't have a spun bearing, I won't at this point need any help.

I took my car to my tuner for a Maggie install and I may have a spun bearing, I'll know more on Sunday. My question to anyone here is, does anyone know of a good engine re-builder?
