I'll still be working and won't be able to make it, but would love to try out my new Ruger LC9.

Got the same gun and love it so far. I'm going to pick up a Ruger LC9 tomorrow. I'm trying to get my wife into it some how and thought this could be a possible start.

I have a dumb question. I'm going to apply for my license on September 6th, I thougth that you had to put down your place of residence for the last 15 years? Someone just came to me and stated that you need to know your residence since you turned 18 years old? How am I to figure out all the places that I lived if that's the case? Man, I thought I read some place that it was the last 15 years?

Yes, I'll have to work on that. The other thing I'm doing is putting the joint of my finger on the trigger, not the pad. Hopefully some day, I'll put this all together.

I've been using a modified isosceles. My right leg is a half step to a full step behind my left leg, and arms extended. I was looking out my right eye with my left eye closed, and I was low and to the left at first. My instructor told me during the shotting portion to use my left eye. When I went to my left eye I was just about on target. I was a little bit up and to the left, but not by much. My grouping was spot on, until he had me stand up. I was still there but a little crazy at times. My instructor's name is Chris Hines and I think he's out of Plain City? He gave us a website which is: http://www.concealandcarryohio.com I called the Franklin County Sheriff's office last week and my appointment is September 6th. So about two week for my application appointment and I can't tell how long until I get my license.

I have a Glock 19, 9 mm. So far I'm loving this gun! I'm sure with the more experience I get, I'm sure I'll be wanting another type of gun. I am thinking of some type of 38, so that I can conceal it a little better. But for now, I really like my Glock. I only have about 250 rounds thru it at this point and plan on shoting some more. I'm left eye dominat but hold my pistol right handed, so far so good. I need to loosen my grip more and learn how to breath better.

I just completed my 12 hour training this last weekend to receive my certification. I have an appointment on September 6th to apply for my license. I'm excited and can't wait. I love this section of CR due to the great feed back/stories that gain me more knowledge. I am a novist and look to improve my skills over the year. I know read the articles here and on other sites I'll better my knowledge and my understanding of the laws. I do want to get another license in the Pittsburgh PA area due to, I visit that area at times. Hope at some point to join some of you guys for some type of shoot around/range time.

Need an Electronic specialist for my wifes Tahoe. Yes, it's me again. Ok, here we are. I took my wife's car to Dan Tobins to have them check it out, to find from them that my wife's car is just fine. At this point, I replace the battery in both the car and the key fob. Still nothing. I take my car to John at Intense, and he couldn't find anything. I got to give it to John at Intense, he really tried to duplicate the situation but he couldn't find anything. When we bring the Tahoe back today from Intense, the car acts up again. Right back to square one. At this point, I'm sure that there is a wire grounding some place on the Tahoe, so at this point, it's trying to track down the location of the bad wire? So does anything know or can recommend anyone for this? If you can, it would be greatly appreciated. For those who don't know what I'm talking about here is a link to the last post I had. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104863

I'm hoping to have mine at the end of August!

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Too late, someone had purchased it. I should have bought this gun on site. Oh, well, maybe I'll just get the new one and spend the money.
-
I believe 4th gen. He did state that it was previously owned? I looked at the gun and it looks brand new. Now I'm not an expert at all, that's why I figured I would see what you guys have to say about it. I'm going to look at it today after work. What are some questions I should ask.

I found a slightly used (1 round thru it) Glock 19 for $429.00. Is it worth it? Sorry for the lack of information.

Need Help 07 Chevy Tahoe Security Problem
PGH STEELERS replied to PGH STEELERS's topic in Tech and Tips
Ok, here is the latest on this. I took my wife's car into Dan Tobin's cause this situation was getting out of control. So we take the Tahoe there, spend the $100.00 to get the Tahoe analyzed, and they can't find anything wrong. So at this point, I have changed the car battery just in case. I have not tried to reprogram the key fob as mentioned above, but I guess that is my next item to check off. I will change the battery in the key fob and go for it. I have a feeling it has something to do with the computer? I'm not sure if it needs reflashed? Just to kind of back up here. When you now go to hit the key fob to unlock the Tahoe, now nothing happens. You go to unlock the door manually and no alarm sounds at all. You got to turn the key to turn the Tahoe on and nothing. Now, what I have been doing is turning the key to the on position, putting the gear shift into drive and then putting it back into park. Some how when I do this, the car will start? Really confused? -
Best company/person to use for bug/ant problems?
PGH STEELERS replied to TimTaylor751647545500's topic in Dumpster
Tried that already and I believe we have way too many ants to kill them with Terro. I've tried the jell packets and I would have to say that our ant problems have been quite so bad this year. -

Digging this thread back up. Someone from Insight Pest Solutions just came to my door looking to treat our house, which is approximately 2700 S.F. He stated that it would cost me $109.00 a quarter. I'm going to try to call First Response Pest Management tomorrow to get a quote and Ohio Exterminating for the same thing. If anyone else has any suggestions for a Pest Company, please do so. Thanks. -

Thanks for this. I'll look at the manual to see about reprogramming (which I should have done but didn't). If not, I'll have to take it to the dealership. I can try disconnecting the battery to see if that does anything, but like one of the guys stated, it doesn't reset the bcm. Thanks guys, I appreciate this. I'll get back with results. -
Need Help 07 Chevy Tahoe Security Problem
PGH STEELERS replied to PGH STEELERS's topic in Tech and Tips
Ok, when my wife goes to hit the unlock button on the key fob, the vehicle does nothing, no sound, no lights flashing, nothing. When she goes to unlock the car door with the key, the alarm goes off. When she puts the key in the ignition, nothing happens period. Does this happen all the time, no, just once in a while, it usually happens when the temperature is around 100 degrees. My friend loaned me his scanner and I checked for any type of code and I got nothing. I think I need to take her vehicle in to the dealership to get her key fob's battery replaced, and what ever else they do to it to program it? I'm not sure what type of security system is on this vehicle, all I know the car came this way from the factory. Just the standard car alarm system that locks and unlocks the doors, a siren sound when you open the door with out the key. I'm not sure what systems the manufacturer installs or even if the manufacturer does this? I assume the manufacturer does these installs. I wish I knew what was going on with her car. Any help would be greatful. -

Great points and no I haven't checked out the key fob battery or the transponder. That will be the next thing to do. Someone at work asked me if the key fob got wet and I'll have to check this all out.
