Rings really? Goes from not using oil to using a quarter a tank of gas? Seems too quick. I thought rings die slowly. Months not days. But this is all opinions and I'm not an expert. Head gasket did fix the heat, before head gasket they did find exhauste gases in the radiator.

Cliffs I have an '03 civic with 120k miles Last year car had poor heat, timing belt and water pump done (OEM). This winter still poor heat unless engine was reved over 2,500. Local shop bled system, problem returned. Shop diagnosed head gasket. Head gasket replaced, head machined, valve job not done, $1300. With in 4 days of getting the car back check engine light comes on for V-tec. Shop said it was low on oil. Since I had the head gasket done it burns a quart of oil every 300 miles (tank of gas). It only used 1 quart for 5,000 miles before the head gasket. I want the shop to pull the head again because something was done wrong. Shop says if they find nothing wrong who is going to pay for the 2nd replacement. They tried a new PCV valve, some additive in the oil and they claim it must be the rings. Engine has good, even compression (could be an oil ring still). All spark plugs look the same. There is no oil on the garage floor or the bottom of the engine. I took it to Honda for a second opinion and they said it is burning oil and without pulling the head they don't know why. Anyone heard of a honda going from no oil to this much in 4 days? I want the shop to make it right, but they are giving me the run around. They talk about the number of head gaskets they have done without problems. They argue if they pull the head and it is not that, what next? It has been 2 months of going in every 2 weeks to complain and they blame something else. What would you do?

If you bought that same helicopter straight up it would take you about 6 months to be able to fly like that if you flew 20 minutes a day (2 batteries). I started with a simple helicopter for about 3 months and then it took about 2 months with that big one. I have not flown in about a year.

I have a Blade 400 electric 3D helicopter. Costs about $450 with a controller and it can do all that stuff. They are a bitch to learn to fly. When the tail faces you the controls are normal, when the nose faces you everything is reversed, when it is upside down with the tail facing you some controls are reversed and other controls are reveresed when the nose faces you upside down. Everytime you crash it is $50+ and at least 2 hours, sometimes more to set it all back up. Here I am at the Dublin middle school.

I have a cat, I hate the litter plus they don't go into attics. Snap traps are the best with peanut butter. After a week of catching them, but a few up there with bait but not set, so they get used to them again. Then a few days later set em again. Glue traps are awful, I would never use those. -
That is some crazy racing! They are all so young too.

Cool, but a boring video. Check this out for your truck!

I have all three, Netflix, Amazon, Redbox. Redbox selection is not great, but they are new. Give them a few years. Amazon Prime does not have much good stuff in the way of "free" but you can rent for like $2 a lot of things Netflix is still the best, especially if you like TV. Their movies are ok, but most movies I search for are not on Instant. Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Alias, 24, Lost, Dexter, are great. Wife has a few series she watches too. I also click through Star Trek Next Gen and MacGuyver when she is not home.

Give the phone to your three year old to talk to.

Product has mixed reviews. Everyone says it works great, on the site it requires 2 separate coats from 2 different cans. People claim it wears off quickly. Worth a try for $20 at box stores. This is neat.
-
eh, they are entertaining, but the first one and SanFran are the best ones. Seem more improvised then this one.

You are going to live in sin? God's punishment! jk Keep valuables out of the car and leave it unlocked. If you have an expensive radio in there, take the face off and lock the car. You could take a screen shot of your camera and place that in the car window at night with a sign saying "under surveillance" or something like that. Otherwise there is really nothing you can do except have insurance to cover a break in.

Been kicking ass on this thing and working my ass off at work. Installed the garage door myself, what a nightmare. I should have hired it. It is 18' wid, 8' tall, has the wind package which means double hindges and braces. It also has 2 springs that require 8.5 turns (normal is 7). Took 13 hours so far to install and wind the springs. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-11-04203716_zps936560b7.jpg Windows installed in 2 hours for both: http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-11-02162235_zps0aaed57a.jpg Had someone due the gutters. If you do gutters get the 4x3 larger downspouts, they clog less. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-11-05162533_zps691bf2b9.jpg

Will only last 10k miles, if he's lucky. I miss my MR2, a blast to drive.

If they are 4' on center you can sheath it with OSB for $10 a sheet at Lowes. Also use their Lowe's credit card for another 5% everyday. Then take fiberglass insulation paper side up, tape them together with TyVek tape (house wrap) and toss it on top of the OSB with the paper facing down to be a vapor barrier. You can get a R value as high as you need this way. Whatever your buget will allow you to buy for insulation. R-39 is recommended for ceilings in homes, so anything over R-20 would be great if you plan on keeping it ~50. Another option would be to buy 2" pink rigid foam at Lowe's or Home Depot. It runs about $30 a 4'x8' sheet. Then use 3" drywall screws with fender washers and attach that to the underside of the trusses. This will give you an R-10 and vapor barrier if you tape the seams. You could put a little cellulose on top of that foam, maybe 4-6" for more R-value in the future. You will also need to do the walls, but with the 2x4's laying flat you will not get much more then a R-7. You will have to attach more 2x4 material on edge to give you 5" of space and you could put fiberglass in there and leave the paper exposed for the time being until you can sheath it. On the walls you could also buy those foam kits and spray the walls with about 3" of foam. Think "Great Stuff" on steriods. Amazon has everything! http://amzn.com/B00BPWS9R8 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/314uHMTWRuL._SL500_AA300_.jpg What are you heating with? Those torpedo propane heaters will do a great job in like 20 minutes of heating that space up if you have some kind of ceiling. Even just OSB or even plastic. Heat it up, then work. It will cool off fast when your done though. You will never be able to get the floor even remotely warm no matter what you do. Just lay on cardboard and wear warm boots out there.

Just awesome. I can't even picture how small we are. There is life out there, we can't get to it and they can't get to us. Just too far away.

I am not going to do the epoxy coating, I am just sealing it with a concrete sealer. Finished up the soffets and facia this weekend. It is 52 feet long and straight as an arrow! Looks great and took a while. Also finished the concrete work and installed a window and door. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-16174213-1_zps57c8dbbb.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-16174333_zpsab70de33.jpg

Holy heck was this weekend busy. We have poured 12 yards of concrete so far with another 6 coming tomorrow. Floor is finished, but I did not take pictures of that yet. Also started to install Facia and Soffets, those take forever. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-12101908_zpsd3d5010e.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-12120706_zps28a80e66.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-13104715_zpsc0baf9c6.jpg

Been busy with work. Teaching inner city is tough. This weekend I am pouring the floor. I am almost done with the radiant heat tubes. I did 4 loops roughly 250' long each. They are zip tied to the wire mesh. http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-09-24193942_zps9af8ae71.jpg http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-09-17184054_zps4f355968.jpg Had to make a PEX unroller or the 1,000' of tubing goes nuts http://i462.photobucket.com/albums/qq342/xyster101/Garage/2013-10-08192019_zps7dcce2fd.jpg

Batteries are the weak spot on them. In grass it chews up the batteries, but they get better traction. I would not hesitate to use craigslist. Meet at a neutral place if you can, talk the person on the phone and test it out. If there is no battery, you can hotwire it with a motorcycle battery and some leads. At least to see if the wheels turn and switches work. I acquired a powerwheels when I was 14 when my parents cleaned out the apt they owned. I put a car battery in it and drove all over sitting in the bed of the Big Foot.

Jay gets off to a slow start like most of his videos. I wish he did some more comic relief. It is neat to see it driving around on the street. Skip to 7:30 for the driving part.

I went to NYIT for my masters and it had a mix online and classroom courses. I also did a few online through another place to get my credits to renew my teaching licence. It is all about your motivation. I like classroom better, but online is convenient. Some require you to just read, watch movies and make a few online posts along with papers. One was very interactive with weekly assignments based on readings, videos and other activities. That class also had 2 "skype" type sessions. I feel I learn more in the classroom, but online is convenient. As long as you don't mind reading a lot and can keep yourself off distractions (youtube, CR, facebook) while you are supposed to work online is ok.

Your best bet on the Polaris is to have him apply for a new title. When you buy them new, the dealer will supply a title. If you get pulled over with it on private/public land that is not yours, you need a way to prove you own the thing. As for the bike, if a bike is over like 15 years you can register it in Maine without a title through the mail for a fee. There are places that will do this, then the company in Maine will mail you a registration from Maine you take to the BMV to get an Ohio title. I did it in NY which has crazy PIA rules and forms. Worked just fine. I think it was like $75
