Finally back home. Going to start digging into it soon and collecting parts and wiring diagrams. I see no reason why it shouldn't be on the road in a few weeks.

Curb too steep for car - I need ideas on how to remedy
C-Mart replied to C-Mart's topic in Passing Lane
That first one is awesome. Thank you! -
So my new house has a fairly angled driveway with a steep curb. Luckily, my house is on a culdesac so we see very little drive by traffic. I was thinking about blacktop, but it would mess with the drainage, and not sure it would even be legal? Any ideas? I can grab some pictures if that would help.

I bought this car in 2015 and work/travel/moving has not allowed me to do much. Shipped it back to Denver when I moved here a few months back and recently bought a house so it will be back home on Saturday. Two quick pictures of some quick prep I did in preparation for the trailer (bigger tires and raising the coilovers). It should be running by the end of summer. I'll keep this thread updated. The only time they look bad, especially in the higher models is when the headlights are aged. The one I almost bought had the carbon package. I can't justify having a turbo cayenne and an excursion, so I am trying to talk the wife into letting me buy her one.
-
I almost bought one. Everyone says that despite being more expensive to buy the turbo is much less to maintain.

I learned long ago that progressives don't want to debate they want to argue. I have many times been wrong, changed my stance on issues, or can flat out say that I don't know. Good luck finding a progressive that will change their mind when confronted with opposing facts.

It is amazing that this is not universally accepted as truth.

He gave me his cell number and invited me to the Manhattan Classic Car Club, but I was traveling on business with a packed schedule. He said he would let me know next time he was in Denver, but who knows.

Alex Roy. Perhaps better known for his drives from NY to LA.

Is DRIVE legit? I met a guy who said he was one of the founders and wants to do a feature on my M3.

I hate the best pizza debate, but if you find yourself by Pequod's Pizza you have to try it. I used to take people to Giordanos or Lous then Pequod's and every single person preferred Pequod's.

Paul is spot on. I spent a long time finding a diesel excursion and in the search I found that excursions that aren't diesel are CHEAP. Plenty of weather free room in the back to haul stuff as well.

Try buying in Denver. Woof.

Very 1996 Romeo + Juliet.

On an LS, yes. Forward facing single turbo setup.
-
Could this be doable/easier with turbo headers?
-
I said it before, but I would kill to have this on my M3.

Is there any downside to the Infinity?
-
Awesome intel thanks. Not quite ready to talk to anyone yet, I don't want to waste their time. I just closed on a house IE a garage IE I can actually make some progress on the car. I am really curious as to why more guys don't run these on LS motors.
-
I don't think those have traction control abilities. I really like now robust the AEM Infiinty seems to be, but to Steve-O's point it doesn't look like many LS guys use it for whatever reason.
-
I have a LS swapped car and the current setup is an OEM ECU, custom wiring harness, and racelogic traction control. I am thinking about selling that all off and replacing it with an AEM Infinity, but can't find any good information on it. I am also planning on switching to an LS2/3 eventually if that changes anything. Does anyone have experience running one of these on an LS?

E36 M3s are a dime a dozen. Lightweights are a different animal. E30 M3s are just silly. I got mine on a discount for not having an S14 in it and, frankly, that is the only way I would buy one.
-
This is amazing. And my M3 deserves this.

Jesus that is a good deal. If I was still local I'd buy it even though I already have one.
