  1. I went from a CTS-V to an E60. Clients think it is nicer than it is. Never let me down, but it's had its share of small electrical gremlins you can shoe away with a programmer (~$80). 08+ have nicer interiors. I like it, but less than 12 months in and I'm bored. If I wasn't starting a company I'd be all over a few year old Alpina B7.
  2. Nice car - I will be moving to Denver in May or August.
  3. As above scrap prices are LOW. If you sawzall the car you will have more $ into blades than you will get out of the scrap. Get everything off you need, post a picture of its current state on craigslist (so the people coming have the right setup), hide yo wife - hide yo kids - and get ready to meet some people you never thought existed.
  4. My buddy has one in the Cbus area in a very cool blue/purple color.
  5. Go fuck yourself you classless brainless try hard. Can we bring back that thread to ban this pseudo intellectual?
  6. Diesel would be interesting I will look into those. Anywhere other than Craigslist/Ebay to look for the Cayenne turbo?
  7. I like the new grand Cherokees, but I wouldn't be excited to drive one. X5 is another option. Turbo Cayennes seem decently reliable despite a few known issues.
  8. Annoying things or things that make the car not drivable? I have an E60 5 series and it had some electric quirks I chased down, but it was annoying stuff not immobilizing stuff.
  9. I've been trying to decide between a range rover and a cayenne. I really like the way the range rover sports look and very familiar with the BMW motors that come in them. It seems to be the consensus that the cayennes are more reliable though, even the turbos. Decisions decisions.
  10. This would look amazingly out of place in the M3.
  11. Obviously computer controlled motors are more efficient/controllable, but damn does that look clean in there.
  12. I've found this is more about being part of a culture that empowers and values positive change than training people to find it. You likely have some people that 'get it' whether they have received formalized training or not, but he key is them identifying the problem, developing the solution, and seeing it through to implementation with the support of management.
  13. I used the progressive rate comparison tool. Progressive and a few others were all in the same ballpark, but Erie was dirt cheap. Called them independently, they were able to get lower than what progressive was showing (because progressive takes a cut when you use their site) and saved about $1000/year. Service will depend on your local agent, but for $1000/year savings I can't complain. Edit - My E30 M3 is through Grundy insurance. The PO of the car told me about them and they are WAYYY cheaper than anyone else and they do agreed value so if something happens it isn't a big headache.
  14. I am not a mechanic by trade and this is how I spend my free time. If I was a mechanic by trade I wouldn't touch cars in my free time.

    F-ing Tinder

20% of conversation is how interesting you are - the other 80% is being interested and asking questions around what they are interested in.
  16. Is the guy in the picture the owner of the car?

I met a cardiologist that works in Aspen, but is from Wiscondin and his family is still here. He said per capita there are 4x more cardiologists on staff in Wisconsin compared to Colorado. I made sure to import my girlfriend from out of state.
  18. Everything seems to be priced right, especially the wheels. This generation V is 6 lug, which means there aren't a lot of options. If you want a second set of wheels, or a spare you pretty much need to buy there. I sold my spare set for $1000.
  19. My brother just gave me a PS4 and I thought it would be cool to build one of these. How is the clutch/shifter setup?
  20. I would love to drop off a big turbo my E30 and a blank check to you. Damn living out of state.
