If you think Columbus is bad try Denver...
-
I met you when you were a banker? I thought it was awesome that you took a chance on yourself and started your own thing. Saw nothing but great reviews from everyone and was hoping to have a similar experience. I appreciate you owning up to it, but it still sucks that you miss out on deals because of time issues or follow up. I would never tell anyone to not go to you, but from my experience I, unfortunately, couldn't recommend you to my Columbus friends.

I like Jordan. Bought something off of him once, but as a business guy missed opportunities from a capable seller and serious buyer irks me.
-
Fool me once - contact Jordan about a car I want with cash in hand followed by radio silence. Fool me twice - contact Jordan for another car I want with cash in hand followed by radio silence. Glad everyone has had good experiences, but unsure about what I am missing.

My company is looking to get a custom trailer made. Tow behind type that has a side that lifts up/falls down revealing a showroom floor/retail space. Does anyone have experience with a setup like this?

Just went through this. I found the setting she wanted then started diamond shopping. I couldn't find a better deal than bluenile. The only complaint I hear about them is that you can't see the diamond before you buy. I just set the filters a few settings up for the diamond quality and found a size that looked good in the setting. The diamond alone was a few thousand less than the second cheapest comparable I found.

Sport dog here. Turned my adopted 9 month old with no training crazy puppy into a fully trained dog in 4 weeks.

Sold it this weekend to a guy from New Jersey. Non-paying ebayers were driving me nuts.

I think I have a 55-200. Shoot me a PM.

I got an offer for full asking today ($11,000), but the car hit the reserve ($10,000) with 5 days remaining on ebay this morning. I am going to let the ebay auction run it's course and if it doesn't work out I'll reach back out to the guy who offered me $11,000.

This industry really has its ups and downs.

Any reason why all those small angles welded together are superior to a proper mandrel bend?
-
I can't see a Z8 conversion costing much more. Seems like that would be a much better idea.

In case anyone wants to have some fun watching the bids (hopefully) go up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/191881933340?forcerRptr=true&item=191881933340&viewitem=

I was at a Barrett Jackson auction a few years back and they auctioned off a 1983 station wagon they used to test the 1984 corvette motor and suspension. Went for ~10k, I always thought that would have been a cool buy.

I didn't weigh anything so all my information is regurgitated. Just keep in mind this is a M62B44 dual overhead cam motor, not a pushrod LS. The M62 is all aluminum and even some magnesium, but I would still be very surprised to learn it was lighter than an LS. That said handling is great and the car is a blast to drive and the extra power and weight is handled by the new suspension and brake upgrades.

I pulled my info from here: http://www.bimmerforums.com/2009/08/engine-faq/

Everyone in R3V is saying I should be asking closer to 16k. I think the asking price is very fair.
-
You know you want to jewtoys. E30s aren't getting any cheaper. And I would be surprised if this motor was lighter than an LS. I pulled all of those from the same website so maybe they were all dry weights?
-
318 motor weighs 220 lbs 325 motor weighs 258 lbs M62B44 weighs 308 lbs Not bad when you compare it to the common swaps these chassis typically see: E36 M3 motor weighs 333 lbs M50/M52 motors weigh around 300 Plus this motor pushes the weight back compared to their I6 motors.
-
It is more difficult, but not overly. The motor wiring makes it more complex, but mechanically it's all the same. Glad I kept it in the family.

Not local, but: http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/5601354050.html In case anyone is interested... I'm in Columbus often so I can setup delivery.
