I haven't played with this one yet but it looks good. My favorite so far is the Droid X. I have the old an busted Droid. Overclocked to 1.0 GH though to keep up with some of the new hotness hitting the scene.

I do not nearly have an economics degree so I would not dare make prophesies about what will happen as a result of the debt we have but everyone I have talked to that does know a thing or two about economics has come to the general idea that it is part of a cycle. We have had quite a bit of spending to help with economy (the exact benefits are arguable) and once the economy starts picking up again as it has showed signs of getting better already, spending and tax revenue will increase and the debt will be payed down. I did not say that our debt is not important, just that it is not a pressing matter right now. We are spending tons of money on war, making tons of money imprisoning people, and eating food that is killing us. I know people affected by the national unemployment rate, I do not know anyone affected by the national debt.

Both are great OS but Android is available for more than one phone and multiple carriers. What a silly bet for someone to make, haha. I love Android, by far my favorite.

I am starting to get a feel for people of this mindset now. You are taking a group of people and applying a thought about them to a whole population. We have already gone this direction in this discussion and have steered back on track. Try to follow along if you can. Pearl harbor was bombed by the Japanese military. All Japanese people do not represent the people that made the decisions to bomb the harbor. This is similar to a group of Muslim people who attacked us DO NOT represent ALL Muslim peoples. My argument is not "i'm right because you're dumb". Muslim families that had lost loved ones probably think similar thoughts to those non Muslim people that lost loved ones. "What a terrible tragedy! Those that are responsible for organizing this should be held accountable for what they have done" I did not say that some tenets of Sharia law would not be seen in school. What I did say however is that Sharia law will not be *enforced*. There is a subtle but important difference. We will not see this for the same reasons we can see prayer in school but we will not tolerate compulsory prayer. What this particular school is doing everyone seemed to agree upon so that the kids can eat and drink water while practicing. Although I am firmly against indoctrination of children, this decision has little to do with forcing them to observe a religious belief and more to do with accommodating the religious beliefs. Lastly no one has to tolerate or respect your opinion. You are allowed your opinion but it will stand or fall on its own objective merits.

I think you may want to take some economics classes before you start predicting the consequences of having a large national debt. I don't like the idea of having a large debt but in the short term and in reality it is hardly our most pressing concern.

People that died in 911 were also Muslim, ya lunkhead.

So you admit there is a war between Christians and Muslims? You are probably the first that will admit it.
-
Well I guess you must be tired of Christianity as well then:p You are confusing something here. By "radical Islam" I am assuming you mean terrorists that practice the religion of Islam. Those who truly believe that infidels must die. I am also going to assume non-violent practitioners of Islam is what you mean by "traditional islam". There is no difference in Islam itself. The text in the Quran doesn't change, individuals just interpret it differently. This is the same as those people who feel that homosexuality is a sin and should be punished. Other people feel that being homosexuals are OK as long as they don't act on it.... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/highschool/news/story?id=5467167 I'm assuming this is the article you are referring to then? Here is the gist of it: Sharia law is not and will never be enforced in US classrooms ever. Separation and protection of the State from religion. In the US the legal thing *should* be the right thing to do. I am NOT saying we must do exactly what the law says just because its the law. It wouldn't be in bad taste as long as it isn't opened on 9/11, and even then it could still be justified.
-
Just to play devils advocate a bit, I think it could be argued that this is not a 1st amendment issue as preventing a building from being built is not exactly preventing someone from practicing their beliefs or restricting free speech. I agree that it goes against the "spirit" of the law though.

Surprise surprise. Muslim terrorists at a mosque.....Bet you can find Christian terrorists at a church...Jewish terrorists probably hang out around the synagogue. Are you understanding the point yet? If terrorists start meeting at ANY place and we are aware of it, we should take care of that situation, but again, we cannot just assume that because we build a mosque, terrorists will come.

While I am no fanboy for Obama I think he is doing ok. I would readily vote for someone else if the candidate was right but many people seem to miss the point that the majority of people that are anti Obama, should really be anti congress as they are the ones who determine spending, program cuts etc. EVERY president campaigns to get elected and doesn't fulfill all of his promises but I haven't seen a president in my time who has come out and tried to change things for the better as much as Obama has. I am not saying that all of Obama's ideas are good and whats best for the country but I am saying that he at least is putting out there that some things need to change. I selected wait and see.

That is very unfortunate. I wonder if there was any negligence on the drivers end that would cause people to throw rocks? Seems like the whole point of this race is jumping over stuff so why would the crowd stand so close?

Another informative, yet compelling post from CDH.

Again with the failed logic. This has been covered so many times now. Mosque= Muslim place of worship. 911 terrorists also were Muslim, however Muslim does not equal terrorist nor does Mosque = terrorism. this is equal to saying that since someone of Christian faith blows up a doctors office, Christian =terrorist and church= terrorist training camp. This is utterly silly. I do not concede that faith based religion is the heart of the problem, but Muslim does not = terrorist!!!!! Get it through your head. Don't get me wrong here as I am OPPOSED to Sharia Law and Muslim culture in the US replacing Western culture but to say they can't build a Mosque 2 and a half blocks away is silly. Manhattan is like 22 sq. miles and at its widest point is 2 miles. It is not a large place so everything is close to everything else.

Again this has already been disproved. I can't even imagine what it would be like to know that I am innocent and be put to death by the state. Isn't this totally against the idea of life and liberty? At the very least if I am in prison i could be released. I will grant that the death penalty does have a *slightly* larger deterrent effect than life in prison but it is not nearly as much as the "perfect society devoid of all violent crime" that you speak of. Suicide bombers KNOW they are gonna die but still choose to commit crimes. Why are they not deterred? someone escaping punishment for a crime they committed> someone's life being ended by the government for doing nothing wrong. I used to be for the death penalty until I had to write a paper about it arguing for it. Once I started *researching* for this paper, I actually learned a thing or two. Try it sometime. While you are at it also research why there have been so many prisons built over the last 5 years and why that prompts communities to fill them. Getting the picture?

I haven't been able to find any reliable news outlets reporting on this. The NYpost had something about it last week but cited no sources. I personally feel that opening it on 9/11 is in poor taste but I haven't heard any confirmation or heard any reasons why anyone would be pushing for this date so it is a bit early to take sides.

a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response Nothing I have said is meant to be inflammatory however the same can not be said about yourself. I have added to the conversation by trying to explain not only my viewpoint but to also provide information as to why I believe the things that I do. All you seem to be able to muster is name calling and grade school remarks. You and I are alike that when we enter a debate, we feel that we are right. The difference is that I am not afraid of being wrong, this is why I am better than you at debating. I do it often and with many different segments of the population (both inside the US and out). It is becoming increasingly apparent that you do not. I am sure that you are a nice guy, just misled a bit and a bit misinformed. I do not blame you for this but I do blame you for not trying to find the truth when it is out there. Luckily I do not get my sense of self worth from online forums so don't worry, I'll be able to sleep soundly tonight. If by "no one likes you" you mean that I have no problem debating a large segment of people on an issue even though I am far outnumbered, thanks for the compliment. P.S I'm still waiting for what I have said that is incorrect and now I am also waiting for you to let me know of what statements I have made that contradict what I believe.
-
Not the same thing at all and I have no idea what the purpose of your post is. It adds nothing to the conversation. Are you saying I should be politically correct or are you making fun of me for being politaccly correct? Which one is it bruh?
-
Amen to all this is hardly an argument for anything. I do not live under a rock, I have moved to living under an overpass. I am still waiting for ANY logical arguments other than "ur dumb, you retard" to anything I have said. Any takers???? Bring it on!

I haven't attempted a position like that but I am a licensed Dudist priest and can legally preside over marriages, funerals, etc in the state of Ohio, haha.

I never stated that all terrorists dress in traditional garb. What I did say however is that anyone can be a terrorist that possess certain traits, namely blind faith and ignorance. John Lindh would fall into this category and strangely enough many pictures of him showed him in traditional garb and facial hair..... My point about the AOG is that they are an American terrorist organization founded on blind faith (Christianity is this organizations flavor) and a terrorist could be anyone. What you are doing is saying that anyone who is a muslim is by extension a terrorist and filled with hate, anti American, etc and this is simply not true. We are at war with "terror", whatever that may mean and because we do not have a clearly defined enemy, we will never come to a resolution that is satisfactory. If we want to correct these issues we would need to go to "war" with faith based activities in general but the US is to afraid to go that route because that includes Christianity and other religions/ worldviews. To answer your statement about 911 having an affect on me, it most certainly did but I don't blame it on muslims or Islam as that is not the enemy, it is faith based religion. 911 helped me to see this.

This is hilarious, the church, who protest just about everything sue when someone protests them. This is priceless. Way to go Foxhole.

Ill be there. If I can get there a bit early and get a slip, that would be great. Is this possible? Can I meet up with you and get a run or two Wayne?
