Engine management is Power FC.

Turbo is kinda small. GT35r dual bearing. I think the wastegate may be a little to strong on the spring, but the reason why there backing off is because of the methanol and possible low fuel. The car will be in the high 400's hp wise at the wheels around 6000rpm, that we know.

Yeah, we were having trouble keeping the car down boost wise. My methanol injection light was blinking an error code so Zavier thought doing full pulls w/so much boost on pump gas w/o knowing if methanol was working correctly was not a good idea. I didnt think so either. However, we also decided I need a little more gas. So I'll be returning to dyno w/2 HiPer Denso pumps instead of one and I fixed the methanol problem.

I was happy w/the torque numbers, but we were able to hold the car down, mainly boost control issues which were my fault. I had no previous experience w/the dyno and I hot a semi-crash course to thats for sure. If anyone is interested, I can crimp OEM, or any rubber hose. For example, instead of a hose barb & clamp w/a AN fitting on it, I crimp a permanent AN fitting on the end of the hose. Eliminates connections/clamps. Just let me know. If it is something I can help w/it will just cost you parts. Also can crimp NPT & Male Boss O-RING. I apoligize in advance if this is the wrong forum. Dont know anything about quads. However it it runs great at low throttle but falls on its face at full throttle, fuel supply sounds suspicious. That is of course timing, etc. is cool. Which sounds like it is. My man Matt who runs my parts counter at work has one of these, and a few other kind too. He just recently experienced a similar problem w/his after taking carbs apart and putting back together (actually he paid someone to). Finally he took them apart using factory manual and found some of the jets were installed wrong. You didnt says anything about disassembly, I realize this, but it seems like the fuel delivery system is drownin itself out somehow. Basically, I agree w/the others. Sounds like fuel issue. I'll ask Matt tomorrow and see if he has any ideas. He has alot of experience w/quads and Toyota 4x4's.

Is using photobucket, etc. the norm for uploading pics or is it just because my rep sucks? I'll figure it out, but I am computer stupid. It was a good night for a little cruise, didnt see much going on though. I'll get back on the pics. Any killer car events coming up locally before the bad weather hits?

I'll make a sign that says "You suck", and hang it above my garage door. That way, when I go in the garage, I'll read it, and I will know that I suck. How do I post pics again? Is the photobucket the only way?

Hey folks Been meaning to join for a good while now and actually did several weeks ago, then got busy w/ an engine rebuild/upgrade for a fellow RX7 friend in need of my help. His engine died on the dyno in 4th gear at 142mph. For whatever its worth, he was still able to drive it home although I'm not so sure that was the best move. Anyway, I wanted to join basically to become more "social" w/other car guys here locally. What really motivated my was back in early August I was invited to go to the Import Face-Off at National Trails on August 29th by the RX7 Store. They said they were gonna have a tent there and wanted me to come. I had never been to an event before at all, but I had a great time, learned alot about what to expect (like needing jeans and a helmet to race, duhh), and was convinced I would like to attend similar events in the future. I was also thinking people would be posting where they might hang out/meet on weekends, etc.? Maybe not I dont know. Here are some pics of my engine build project last winter.
