Just because a guy isn't a great Head Coach doesn't mean he can't be a great DC. He was Urban's DC at Florida and if I remember correctly, they had a pretty stout defense every year. I think Charlie Strong would be a great hire at DC.

So talks of Fickell possibly taking the FAU head coaching job... More rumors swirling that if he takes that job, Charlie Strong might come in as a D-Coordinator. Man that would be epic.

Pancreatic Cancer is very aggressive... I believe it is one of the worst, but with the advances in medical technology and treatment, anything is possible. I definitely wouldn't give up no matter what the doctor told me. I'm really sorry to hear about this Brian. I know we screw with you a lot on the College Football thread, but that's all in good fun and it's sports. I've been to far too many funerals in my short time here. It never gets easier, but like others have said, just enjoy the time with him you have left. Do fun stuff if he's able. Cancer is a real threat to all of us, and I really hope we can find a real cure because it has taken way too many people way too early.

I hung out with a girl once at her place and we were just laying there watching a movie and I noticed she was paying way too much attention to her phone, so I simply asked, What are you looking at? She said, my fitness coach said that I need to get my name out there for sponsors, so I go on Instagram fitness pages and go through their followers and follow them and I have this app that tells me if they followed me back and if they did, I continue to follow them and if they didn't then it automatically unfollows them. Note: She also posted about 50 hashtags #fitlife #girlswholift #swole and a bunch of other bullshit. Needless to say that was the last time I talked to that girl. I can't stand how people can be so obsessed with themselves and NEED to feel like their liked. Social Media has created a monster that has changed our society.

Yeah, the guy that I know is very good at picking out clean/good cars at auctions. I know some things are hard to see, but if anyone can pick out a bad egg, I know he can. Plus, the car will be gone through and everything and if it's junk he buys the protection package and he can give it back to the auction. I still am considering buying one myself from a dealer near by or a private seller near by, just depends what I hear back from my buddy.

Yeah I will. I have a buddy down on the Gulf Coast where I used to live who buys auction cars for cheap and can have another one of my buddies down there build it to spec, have the engine torn apart and gone through and install whatever I want and include it all in the price of the sale which is what I'm considering doing. I know cars from the auction are frowned upon, but if I can get a c5z for $10-12k and have my buddy tear it down and do a cam and full bolt ons for an extra $3-5k it'd be hard not to go that route. I just don't have the resources or know-how to do all the work myself and his labor rates about about 4 times as cheap as any shop up here will charge.

I think I'm really leaning towards a C5 now. I've been looking at some FRC's and Z06's. I am done with college next week and I've always said when I get established, I'm going to buy a Corvette. I kinda look at it as a present to myself. I just don't think I will be happy until I own one. I tried to settle with a Wrangler and I think if I bought anything else I'd be doing just that, settling. I'm not 100% certain I will buy one, but I'm really leaning that way.

I think if they didn't leave the Pac 12 out last year then they would put Penn State over them. I just don't think they leave the Pac 12 out again this year just because they know it will be bad for that part of the country's interest in College Football.

In Order 1) Alabama 2) Ohio State 3) Clemson 4) Washington What I hope if all win out... 1) Alabama 2) Ohio State 3) Washington 4) Clemson I want to play Washington because we seem to do well against teams that don't have a big physical defensive line (Oklahoma, Nebraska, other cupcakes) vs. when we play a team that does have a big physical D-Line (Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan and even Michigan State).

Good info to keep in mind. I really like the new WRX hatchbacks, particularly the STI's but they are a little out of what I'm wanting to spend right now. The main reason why I want to keep it under $15k is to keep my payments low and debt low because I'd like to buy a house within the next year or two.

Interesting... Penn State over Wisconsin? Kinda scares me a little if that's the case. The more I think about it, the more I think we NEED Wisconsin to win to ensure us getting in. Wisconsin really has no argument against us, Penn State does unfortunately. Although, I still like our argument better but Penn State definitely has a case. I'm just hoping some way some how Virginia Tech beats Clemson and there is no debate whether OSU "deserves" to be in or not.

A c5 is definitely high on my list... Might consider checking it out. I've always liked s2000's CTS-V is probably the only one of those I'd consider I've been talking with him. Seems like a hell of a deal. A corvette is almost always a good choice. You guys are slowly talking me into it. Although I shouldn't need talked into it lol
